Now, her eyes were clear. She realized that all she wanted was Brother Jay’s love.

Celine clenched her purse tightly, so tight that the joints started to turn white and her body started to shudder because of the huge emotional fluctuation.

With a happy smile on his face, Jason walked closer to her. He looked warm and sunny, and under the dim lighting, he looked like prince charming.

She had handpicked the cologne for him and he used it every day because she loved the smell.

The name of the cologne was Lockheart. This was because she wanted to lock his heart and make him her only man so no one would be allowed to take him away.

When Jason was almost in front of her, she was so exalted. She took a step forward and welcomed him with a soft voice, “Brother Jay…”

Celine froze on the spot.

In a little corner near the bar, Nell and Tim were talking to several middle-aged male investors.

They were laughing elegantly with wine glasses held up high. The swan-neck-like glasses looked like an art piece under the beautiful lighting, accentuating its elegant and dazzling curves. By looking at it alone, one would have the urge to hold it dearly in his hands.

With that, Jason walked over and talked to the middle-aged men. Some chatters later, the few men raised their glasses at Nell and then left.

After that, Tim too tapped on Nell’s shoulder before he left her alone with Jason.

Jason stood there in front of Nell, looking at her with an affectionate yet guilty gaze. Janice awkwardly replied to his gaze with a helpless twitch.

The way they locked eyes showed no hostility and it felt comfortable. The way they stood together made them look like the most beautiful painting in the world that would leave people breathless.

Suddenly, Celine realized something and the mental wall in her mind collapsed instantly.

She started to laugh maniacally and it became louder by the second. In the end, the maniacal laugh made her twitch and she started to tear up.

Not only was Mia shocked by the scene, but people at the event also looked at her curiously, wondering what had caused her to lose her mind.

Celine continued to laugh maniacally as if she was a crazy woman who had fallen into despair. Her laughs shook her body and her tears ruined her makeup. She looked as terrible as she could be, it was as if she was abandoned by her dearest in the harshest way possible.

Then someone started to whisper, “Has she lost her mind?”

“Is she on drugs?”

At the corner, Nell saw what was happening. So, she raised a brow and looked at Jason. “Young Master Morton, your wife seems to be drunk, why don’t you go take a look at her?”

Although Jason saw that Celine was having a breakdown, he showed no concerns for her.

“Hasn’t she embarrassed herself enough? Must she embarrass me as well?”

Nell smirked softly and did not further comment on the situation.
