This guest room was something Gideon had specially asked the staff to prepare.

Inside the red gift box was a pure green jade bangle, resting on top of a bed of black silk.

Nell’s eyes glimmered.

“Wow! What a beautiful looking bangle!”

Gideon looked at her intently. “Do you like it?”

“Yes!”

High-quality imperial jade was already rare enough, but based on the deep coloring of this bangle, it must be of even higher quality than those imperial jade ornaments she had seen in auctions.
