Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 433

At this moment.

“Bang!”

The sound of a gunshot. Everyone was shocked and turned around to see William lying there with enlarged pupils. There was a blood-red hole on his forehead with blood gushing out of it, he was dead.

Matthew was the first to react, he quickly took out his gun, got in front of Gideon and Nell, and stood in alert, surveying the surroundings.

The gunshot surprised the other bodyguards nearby as well, they all stood on alert.

Some time passed.

There were no other movements.

Gideon twitched his eyebrows slightly and said, “No need to keep watching, it was an assassin, probably already got away.”

Mathew was shocked.

Gideon largely remained expressionless, he held on to Nell. Somebody had already docked the fishing boat by the shore.

After getting off the boat, they saw several police cars parked by the shore. Liam had a large group of fully suited and armed guards boarding the fishing boat.

A blocky middle-aged man with large ears stepped down from the police car. When he saw Liam, he immediately greeted him with an expression that was a mixture of fear and pandering.

“Young Master Liam, are you guys alright? I just received the news and immediately rushed over, I can’t believe someone had the guts to kidnap your friend! When I catch him, I will bring him to justice!”

Nell touched her nose and said in a lowered voice, “He’s already dead!”

“Ah?” the man was slightly taken aback, he followed it up with a bitter, distressed expression.

“This, this, Young Master Liam. I understand your anger, I know you are enraged, but murdering someone… I know he’s a suspect and had it coming, but…”

“When did you ever see me murdering someone?” Liam remained expressionless, “The culprit had some dispute with his accomplice and was killed in an attempt to silence him. Director Jesse! I hope you can quickly give me an explanation for something like this happening in your sector!”

Jesse was stunned.

There was an accomplice?

Did he not receive reports of there being just one suspect?

Just as he was about to pursue the matter, Liam had already stopped paying mind to him and signaled for Gideon, who was holding Nell, to head toward the Hummer parked at the side.

Just as Director Jesse was about to stop him, Matthew had stopped him from behind and said smiling, “Hello there sir, feel free to ask me if you have any questions! I was at the scene when the suspect was murdered, I can head back with you to make a statement!”

--

Nell entered the car with Gideon.

The car moved steadily on the wide-open road. There were two Hummers in front, and another two at the back as well, the car they were seated in was positioned safely in the middle.

The car was very spacious and quiet. Apart from Nell and Gideon, it was just the driver.

Nell had never seen the driver before, he probably was not appointed at the last minute by Liam. His features were bold, and he focused on driving.

The passengers in the cars in front and behind them were probably bodyguards. Nell felt like there was something about these bodyguards that were different from the bodyguards she usually saw, but she could not quite put her finger into what exactly was different about them.

She was slightly unnerved.

Gideon has not said a single word ever since they entered the car. His brows were pressed together and he seemed to be thinking about something.

Nell was afraid of disturbing him so she stayed quiet the entire time. She silently rubbed the bruises on her wrist that were formed from being tied up.

“Does it hurt?”

The man spoke in a deep, low tone. Gideon suddenly held her wrist.

The rings of bruises left behind by the ropes appeared on the lady’s pale wrists, they had become bruised green.

Gideon’s handsome brows frowned a little, “Any discomfort anywhere else?”
