Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 437

Whenever William saw her, he would not say anything. Even if he had to pawn off every valuable item in his house, he would not say a word.

Every time he saw Scarlet, he hung a smile on his face.

It was only later when Scarlet found out that whenever the other party confronted William, he would unleash a flurry of slaps on himself.

He would slap himself until the other party had enough and told him to stop.

At the time, William would say that when he had money in the future, he would exact his revenge.

Scarlet was incredibly moved, there was probably nobody else in the entire world who would treat her this way.

She began to persistently persuade her family to let William be a part of the Griffin family.

The old madam was unable to best her stubbornness and finally agreed.

After they got married, William did go and find the ones who wronged him. With the Griffin family backing him, he gave every single one of them a good beating.

When Scarlet found out about it, she got into an argument with him. She rebuked him for doing something that would sour the Griffin family’s image.

William did not say much at the time, he only lowered his head and took it.

He did not bother explaining, nor did he try to argue with her.

Scarlet only understood later on that his reasoning for doing so was that he hated them for looking down on him.

William was always too bothered by these things. At the time, Scarlet had thought that he was in the wrong. She thought that the more he showed that he was bothered by it, the more other people will think that he was just leeching off the Griffin family.

Scarlet thought that if she could do it all again, if she had the chance to choose again, she would not judge him the same way she did, and would tag along with him and exact revenge for everything they said about him. Word for word, blow for blow.

However, he was not here anymore!

Everything had completely lost its meaning.

William was a douchebag, he was a gambling addict, he was a deadbeat beyond saving, but he was still her beloved man!

Over all these years, even though she had to sneakily help him with financing the Cabot family, William had done his part for the Griffin family as well!

If not for him helping the old madam get things done from the shadows and dealing with problems that the Griffin family could not be directly involved with, would the Griffin family be where they are today?

Why did their lives turn out like this?

Why was it that the ones who commit the most villainous, heinous action were the ones who get to continue living life merrily?

Was he destined to live a worse life than others? Why?

The more Scarlet thought about it, the more she cried. By the time she was done crying, she could hardly squeeze tears out of her eyes anymore. She only sat there, choked up in anguish.

At that moment, footsteps were heard. A pair of polished leather boots appeared before her.

Scarlet was startled, she looked up.

The sun was harsh, she was blinded by the sunlight when she tried to look up. She squinted her eyes and could not properly see what the man looked like. Scarlet only saw that he wore a black-colored cap.

He donned a meticulously clean black shirt and had his hands resting in his pocket. The way he stood over her, it was like a divine being peering down on an unseemly ant.

“Tch, the crown princess of the Griffin family has fallen from grace. Abandoned in the middle of the road, how sad!”

The man spoke, his voice flowed out of him like a gentle stream of mountain spring water.

Though he was being sarcastic, there was something about his voice that was strangely appealing, it did not come off as being rude.

“Who are you?” Scarlet asked.

“I’m your rescuer.”

“Rescue me?”

“Yes, rescue you!”

He faintly smiled at her after he finished. He promptly turned around without paying mind to her reaction and approached a black Bentley parked by the side of the road.

Scarlet sat there, stunned. She caught herself after a moment and immediately pulled herself up to chase after him.
