Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 562

He must go home tonight and tell his wife about this so that they can celebrate!

Joel Foster did not stay long. Very soon, he left together with Lucy Katz.

Since he drank some alcohol, he did not drive. Instead, both of them sat in the backseat with the window cranked down halfway. The night breeze sailed by, intermingling the sweet whiff of alcohol on the man with the subtle fragrance on the woman, spreading it into the night.

“Thank you for just now. You really saved me from embarrassment.”

Lucy Katz thanked him sincerely. She knew that based on their current relationship, what Joel did was merely to preserve her dignity.

He glanced at her sideways. His handsome face was slightly flushed from the alcohol, and his jet-black eyes resembled enchanting pools of water that could see into his soul.

“That’s it? I don’t accept verbal appreciation.”

Lucy was taken aback. Looking at the teasing glint in his eyes, her heart skipped a beat.

She smiled slightly. Her beautiful eyes turned to him before she leaned her upper body towards him. Her pale fingertips gently scratched the shirt on his chest while she bit her bright red lips between her teeth.

“I wonder, how does Second Young Master Foster want me to thank him? Earlier tonight, there was a Charming Beauty Swanson glaring at me in the dark. That vengeful stare almost made my skin crawl.

“Maybe I should give her a call and explain our relationship, then… Mmph…”

Before she could finish speaking, a passionate kiss suddenly landed on her.

Lucy was kissed until her entire body turned to mush. She wanted to object, but deep down inside her, there was a silent invitation.

It was not until the other person emitted a muffled laugh that Lucy’s head cleared up with a jolt.

“Joel Foster!”

She shoved him away angrily before realizing that he had pushed her into a horizontal position on the backseat.

The chauffeur’s knowing smile was reflected in the rearview mirror. Feeling embarrassed and humiliated, Lucy yelled at him, “You old dog!”

Joel Foster cast a sideways glance at the chauffeur, whose face immediately turned solemn. At the single press of a button, the two compartments were now separated by a screen, and the chauffeur disappeared from their view.

He continued to stare at her from above. Her breathing was slightly labored and her voice was husky, which sounded especially seductive to Joel.

Lucy Katz felt her cheeks burn. Her heart was racing so fast that she was afraid it would leap out of her heart. She turned her face and pushed him with all her might. “Get up! You’re so heavy.”

With a grin, Joel let go of her and got up. Elegantly straightening his clothes, he said to her in a lazy tone, “Next time if you want to say thank you to me, express it in this manner.”

Lucy Katz gritted her teeth. “In your dreams!”

After that, she kicked the car door. “Stop the car!”

The chauffeur dutifully pulled the car to a stop by the roadside where Lucy got out of the car in a huff and slammed the door behind her.

Joel lowered the window and reminded her, “This is still quite a few miles away from your house.”

“Even if I have to take a taxi, I won’t ride in your car!”

With those parting words, the woman walked away in her heels.

Joel Foster rested his arm against the car door. Looking at the departing silhouette, his lips could not help but quirk into a smile.

All of a sudden, his phone rang. He glanced at it and answered.

“Joel, when are you going to bring your girlfriend home? Didn’t you say that you’ll bring me a daughter-in-law very soon? Why hasn’t there been any updates?

“Soon.”

“Really?”

“Yup, you guys can start planning the wedding.”
