She glanced at Natalie and said coldly, “Aunt Foster, it’s been a long time.”
Natalie only heard that Joel was keeping a lover, who was an actress before she came here, outside.
She had always looked down on the women in the entertainment industry. She always assumed that those women who could survive in this industry must have slept with a lot of men. All of them were dirty.
If her son was just playing around, she would not say anything. However, she was told that he actually meant it this time when she woke up in the morning.
He had done a lot of things for that woman, even buying her a huge villa. When Natalie heard that Joel wanted to move in with the woman and continued developing their relationship, she could not stand it anymore.
She felt a sense of crisis. Her second son always had a mind of his own.
Although she did not care about other things, marriage was a significant thing. She must be in charge of her son’s marriage.
Therefore, she had immediately rushed over to the villa while thinking about that. She initially thought about what kind of woman her son would be keeping here. She did not expect it to be Lucy.
Natalie had always known about Lucy.
After all, Officer Katz had been working for the Foster family for more than ten years. Lucy also grew up there and only left for Kyoto when she was about ten years old.
Lucy eventually became famous in the entertainment industry. Although Natalie recognized her, she did not think that she was amazing.
After all, Natalie had always despised Lucy’s family when Officer Katz was still around. Now that Officer Katz was no longer here, there was no difference even if she was a first-line actress in the entertainment industry.
An actress was just an actress. Many actresses always dreamt of marrying into affluent families, but only a few were truly happy.
Natalie thought about that and looked at Lucy again with a gaze full of disdain. She sneered, “So, it’s you. You should have told me earlier. If I’d known that it was you, I wouldn’t have come here in a rush!”
Lucy smiled and looked at Natalie without fear. “So, why are you here, Aunt Foster?”
Natalie smiled gently. She then walked over and held her hand. “What else could it be? I heard rumors saying that Joel is keeping a filthy woman outside.
“You also know that Joel likes playing around with a lot of women outside. I’m always worried about him and often have to clear up the mess for him. That’s why I rushed over here as soon as I heard about the rumors. I don’t want the girl to suffer. After all, he’s used to playing with women.
“It’d have been okay if he met with a playgirl, but if he met a good girl, then I’d have asked him to stop messing with her so that he wouldn’t waste her time.”
The four people just glanced at one another when they heard this. Their expressions became a little weird.
Lucy was the only one who stood still from the beginning to the end. She knew that Natalie’s point had not exactly kicked in yet, so what was the hurry?
Natalie laughed and continued. “I didn’t expect to see you here. Aren’t you surprised?”
Lucy smiled calmly and withdrew the hand that Natalie held.
“What are you surprised about, Aunt Foster? That I’m the woman your son has been keeping all along? Or that I am so shameless in asking a sugar daddy to feed me?” she said fluently in a tone that was full of sarcasm.
