Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 62

The next day, Nell went straight to Anning International.

After a series of contract signing, Xinghui was finally now an official partner of Anning International.

As this was a direct order from Gideon, the higher management dared not voice their opinions despite their surprise.

With the contract out of the way, Matthew brought Nell to the public relations department and announced her position as chief.

Nell had already made a name for herself in Fenghua in the past two years.

Even though she kept a low profile, most peers in the industry recognized her and approved of her potential.

They were delighted to learn that President Leith had acquired her.

Of course, there also others with a long service record that had eyes on the chief position with it finally made available. However, Nell came out of the blue and snatched it from them.

Although they took a dim view of their new chief, they, too, held their tongue while the team received her warmly.

Nell got the lowdown on the personnel situation in the department and said she would start work the next day before leaving.

After departing from Anning International, she took a trip back to Xinghui.

She gave Hannah a call when she first took over Xinghui.

Today was coincidently the last day Hannah was serving her resignation notice and officially joining her.

Nell was naturally overjoyed for the arrival of this great assistant.

With her and Vice President Lewis around, Nell did not need to be too concerned about Xinghui for the time being.

After getting Hannah acquainted with the office, Nell received a call, telling her to take a look at her shop.

She then recalled that the matter was left hanging after putting the tiny store up for a transfer of ownership.

It would have slipped out of her memory if it were not for the phone call.

After work, Nell took off to the store instead of Leith Gardens.

The person who she had made an appointment with had arrived and turned out to be Zoey’s relative after some probing.

For the amount of time Zoey spent in the shop, she had a pretty clear grasp of its profits. So of course, she could not wait to break the news to her family with a great opportunity presented at hand.

Nell smiled without commenting further. She even gave preferential rates on certain items.

The transfer of ownership went on smoothly.

It was already 8:00 p.m. by the time she was done.

Nell had phoned Leith Gardens in advance to inform Aunt Joyce that there was no need to prepare dinner for her.

It so happened that Gideon was working overtime tonight. He must still be at work.

She walked out of the store, realizing then that it was pouring outside.

As it was late autumn, the air was frosty from the breeze blowing from the North and the rain intensified the chilliness.

Clenching onto her sweater, she took strides to the garage while sending him a message on WeChat.

Learning that the man was indeed still in the office, she drove to Clearwater Villa.

She came to know Gideon’s taste preference from making last night’s food.

Nell knew that the man was fussy enough to eat only food made by Aunt Joyce and Clearwater Villa. Hence, she ventured there even though it was late.

Fortunately, it was not much of a bother as cars were scarce at night and her location was close to Clearwater Villa.

After ordering a few takeaways from the villa, she made a beeline for Leith Corporation.

Back in the president’s office, Gideon was still engaged in a meeting.

As the current person in charge of Leith Corporation, he was definitely busy with all affairs needing to come through him.

Moreover, newly-developed electronics from abroad had recently yielded fruition. Having set store by the technology, Gideon was more at ease taking a personal interest in many of the aspects. Thus, the piling of meetings abroad lately.

By the time Nell reached her destination, the huge screen in the office was still projecting the setting of the correspondent’s meeting room.
