Simon Wilburn nodded his head.

Lucy and Simon did not say anything else.

After they sat for a while, the director asked Lucy to come over. She then bid him goodbye and left.

Simon remained seated and did not move. Under the night sky, he silently watched as she moved according to the director’s instructions.

At that moment, Carina walked over from behind.

“Brother Simon, I just bought supper. Do you want some?”

Lucy was filming some scenes at night, so she needed to have supper, else she would not have the energy to continue.

As such, Carina would go and buy some food for Lucy during that hour.

She knew that Simon was also filming that night, so she bought 2 portions.

Simon was surprised. He turned around, saw it was Carina, and smiled.

“What did you get?”

“There’s milk custard, fried rice, and oden. I also got some barbecue skewers.”

As Carina said this, she shyly scratched her head and added, “These are just some snacks. I’m not sure if you’d like it.”

Simon saw the delicious food in front of him and felt a warmth in his heart. He smiled and replied, “Of course I like it!”

Without hesitation, he then took over the food from her hands and bit into the skewered meat.

“Ah! I’m just so lucky to be able to eat such tasty food in this cold weather! How could I not like this?”

Carina laughed at the sight of Simon, who disregarded his image completely and was gobbling down the food with his oily hands and mouth.

“It’s good that you like it.”

Carina unconsciously blushed as she said this.

She glanced at Lucy and asked, “Are you filming with Sister Lucy later?”

Simon shook his head.

“No. I’m filming with Group B tonight, so I won’t be filming with her.”

Carina nodded thoughtfully.

At that moment, the assistant director called out for him to go on Group B’s set.

Simon quickly took a few more bites of the Canton dish and handed it over to Carina.

“Help me keep it for a while. I’ll come back when I’m done.”

“Ah?”

Carina was shocked and wanted to tell him not to eat it anymore as it would turn cold by the time he was done.

Unexpectedly, as Simon walked away, he turned back and said to her, “Remember to leave it! Don’t throw it out! I can still eat it even if it’s cold.”

He then ran over hurriedly.

Carina did not know whether to laugh or cry when she saw him leave the room.

After a while, Simon came back.

He continued to eat the supper that he left earlier.

Lucy had also left the set as there was an issue with the lighting. The crew needed some time to fix it, so she had some extra break time.

She was surprised to see Simon gorging down his supper when she walked into the rest area.

“Oh? This little Carina is pretty good, huh? She even knows how to bring you supper now.”

Simon looked up and joked, “Why? I only ate one portion of your supper and you can’t bear to part with it?”

Lucy paused. She knew that Simon was joking, so she could not hold in her laughter and said, “I’m not upset about supper. I just feel sorry for that little girl who is infatuated with someone that doesn’t even realize it.”

Simon was taken aback.

He looked at her puzzled.

Lucy only realized that she had a slip of tongue after it was too late.

She immediately covered her mouth and motioned to zip her lips.

Lucy then shook her head and shrugged with an innocent look on her face.

Her actions meant that she did not say anything nor did she know of anything, so he should not ask her about it.
