Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 728

Uncle Fred stopped in his tracks and pondered for a moment before he continued to speak again.

"Alright, I'll think of a way to do this. If it doesn’t work, then I'll find a car to drag them into town myself. There are people there who specialize in trafficking. Although the price will be a bit cheaper, I couldn’t care less anymore."

When Aunt Karen heard this, her face changed slightly and her fingertips trembled.

In the end, she did not dare to say anything else in front of her cold husband and lowered her head.

The oil lamp in the house remained on until midnight before it was extinguished.

The next morning, the sun rose and everything was as usual.

That night, neither Nell Jennings nor Nancy Murray dared to sleep too much as they feared that something would happen during the night.

As it turned out, although Uncle Fred had noticed that something was wrong with them, they were not so quick to act, which was just as Nell had expected,

There was just something different as well.

That was, from that day onwards, Uncle Fred no longer allowed them to go downstairs for dinner.

Not to mention going out, now they were not even allowed to go downstairs.

The reason he gave them was ridiculous.

Uncle Fred said, ”You girls don’t know what happened. There were thieves in the village last night. They weren’t just regular thieves. They stole money, smuggled people, and even raped women. You girls are from outside and are already easy to bully. I think you both better stay in your room to be safe.

"After all, you have seen our family. There’s just us two old people here. If they really were to break in, both of us can’t possibly protect you, right?"

Nancy subconsciously frowned at these words. She wanted to retort but was stopped by Nell.

Nell placed her hand on her chest and feigned shock. She asked, "Really? What kind of thief would dare? Oh my, I've heard that many criminals in the countryside have no respect for the law because law enforcement is just too far away and they think no one can control them. Oh my, this is just awful!"

Nancy saw Nell’s pompous acting skills and could not help but smirk.

Fred and Karen did not see anything wrong with Nell’s reaction.

They just nodded their heads seriously.

"Yeah, it's that rampant, so you girls better just stay in your room and don’t come out. Aunt Karen will bring up every meal to you."

Nell showed a grateful expression and said, "Then sorry for troubling you."

"You're welcome, you're welcome."

After Uncle Fred said that, he left.

Aunt Karen gave Nell a deep look and did not say anything. She just turned around and went into the kitchen to do her work.

Only then did Nell pull Nancy back into the room.

As soon as they were back in the room, Nancy asked in a low voice, "What the hell are you doing? They're clearly trying to trick us by locking us in the room and not allowing us to go out."

Nell sneered and said, "Of course I know. Why else would I cooperate with their act?"

Nancy was instantly confused.

"Nelly, what the hell are you thinking?"

Nell sat there and snickered with her hand on her chin.

"It's nothing. I was just thinking that they're so anxious now. I'm just afraid that someone might have come to look for us. That's why their attitude changed so much!"

Nancy was startled at first, but later she was overjoyed.

"Are you saying that the President and the others have found them? That's right. You've been missing for so many days. It's about time for the President to come and look for you."

However, there was no joy on Nell's face as she lowered her eyebrows slightly.

"It's not them."
