Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 727

”What?”

Nancy Murray was so shocked that she sat up on the bed.

Nell Jennings tried again and pushed a little harder, only to find that the door really would not budge. It was not just an illusion.

Only then did she turn around with a gloomy face and walked back.

"The situation’s not great. I suspect that they've already realized that our identities are not as simple as we said before."

Nancy had also panicked a bit and asked, "Then what should we do?"

Nell pursed her lips and was silent.

"There's no rush yet. Let's see what they’re up to first. If it's really bad…”

If the situation was dire, they could only rush headfirst into it.

Anyways, no matter what, Nell and Nancy absolutely could not be separated in such a situation.

As she thought of this, Nell pulled out the paper that was previously hidden in the corner with a map of the surroundings drawn on it. She took a closer look at it and pocketed the paper.

She said in a low voice, "We won't be able to get out tonight. We'll just see what happens tomorrow. Remember, tomorrow morning when we wake up, let’s pretend we didn't know that they locked the door tonight. As usual, if the situation doesn't look right, we'll just knock the two of them unconscious, tie them up, and then escape."

Nancy was worried and said, "But didn't you say not to before? Everyone around here will help them chase us down."

Nell sighed.

"That was before, but now it's different and there's nothing we can do about it,” Nell said this and packed a few necessities that they would need.

As she was packing, she said, "Previously, I thought we could stall as long as we could for you to recover, but now it looks like they've realized who we are."

"If they're afraid of getting into trouble, they'll be in a hurry to get rid of us, which makes it more dangerous for us. We must make preparations as soon as possible to avoid something like that."

Nancy listened and nodded her head heavily.

It was only after Nell finished packing that she heaved a sigh of relief.

She also used something to grind the flowers she had retrieved earlier that day to make a powder. Then, she gave a small packet to Nancy and kept a small packet for herself.

Nell said, "I don't know if this stuff’s useful or not, but even if it doesn’t work, we can just use it as a blinding powder."

Nancy nodded and suddenly whipped out a small knife from under her pillow.

Nell was stunned as she looked at the small knife.

"Where did you get this from?"

Nancy replied nonchalantly, "It's always with me."

Nell was dumbstruck.

"You’ve always had a knife on you? Why didn't I know that? I've been sleeping with you for so long."

Nancy smiled at the words and replied, "It's hidden in the most intimate place. Of course you won't find it. This knife is small when it’s folded, but it can be used as a dagger when unfolded. I had it specially ordered in the past, and it's usually placed on the waist of my pants, so the general public won't see it."

Nell nodded.

With a powerful weapon for self-defense on Nancy’s body, the sense of security in Nell’s heart increased by a great deal.

Nell said, "Let's see what we can do tomorrow. Don't be impulsive."

Nancy nodded and replied, "Mm, I know."

After the two of them finished their discussion, they knew that it was pointless for them to worry at that hour. Everything would have to wait until morning.

They laid on the bed and talked for a while longer, then went to sleep together.

Meanwhile, in the room downstairs.

Aunt Karen was sitting on the bed and was mending her clothes by a dim kerosene lamp.
