Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 752

The prison guard did not think too much.

After all, Vickie had a good reputation for the past four years.

She was so good that she was not like a vicious criminal at all, but a gentle girl-next-door, a kind of girl who everyone could not help but take care of.

Sometimes the guard sighed in her heart thinking that she was such a nice girl!

Vickie’s life was effectively ruined.

While comforting her, the guard sometimes told her that she was still young, and there was a lot of hope and possibilities in the future.

The guard knew that once a person went to prison, especially with the criminal charge of murder, their life would not be easy once they leave.

The thought of this made her sigh regardless.

After Vickie was uncuffed, she returned to the cell and sat back on the bed.

The prison guard locked the cell door and left thereafter.

The cell was quiet once again.

She sat there quietly, her legs crossed and her body was pitifully thin. In other people’s eyes, there was a sense of tenacity in her.

Vickie looked like an indomitable pine, which stood firmly even after being weathered.

She lowered her head and remained silent. Some time had passed, she reached out her hand and took a pencil underneath the pillow, and started to write on a small part of the wall next to the bed.

The messy lines together with letters and numbers were incomprehensible to an ordinary person.

She put those scribblings together and converted it to an answer she desired.

In the end, Vickie squinted her eyes and smiled after looking at the result on the wall.

Four years, a total of one thousand four hundred and sixty days.

She did nothing apart from that one thing.

Vickie believed that this thing alone would be able to reinvigorate herself and turn a new leaf after she gets released from prison.

Time flew by.

In a blink of an eye, it was the next day.

The day she was officially released from prison.

In the morning, Vickie woke up to the sound of a horn. She went out for breakfast with the rest of the inmates after a quick wash up.

She benefited from being part of the Taylor family. Even though her life was not great in prison, she did not get bullied much during her four years there.

As her incident was a special case, she had a cell by herself as prepared by the prison to detain her independently.

This seemed to be a punishment for her. After all, independent detention meant that she was always alone except for meals and leisure times in prison.

For four years, which was more than a thousand days and nights, she had no one to talk to.

This kind of situation would be unbearable for any normal person.

For a person like Vickie, it was not important whether there were any people to talk to.

She was not someone who liked to talk to others. Staying alone would be better for her as it would be quiet.

Moreover, it would be more conducive for her to do certain things.

Her lips curled up while thinking of this.

It was time to leave prison after breakfast.

There were still a series of procedures to go through before she was able to leave.

Everyone knew that she would be leaving today. Hence, all the inmates congratulated her after breakfast.

Although she did not stay with them all these years and did not have many interactions with them in the prison, no one had friends in this place.
