Gregory Graham rose from the bed abruptly, released Vickie, and shouted, "Uncle Osborne!"
Mr. Osborne immediately walked in.
Gregory took a look at the woman that was still sitting on the bed. Her eyes were cold as ice.
"Send Ms. Thomas back."
"Yes sir."
Mr. Osborne sent Vickie Thomas away.
Both of them were in a bad mood, so they probably ended on bad terms.
If Gregory was angry, how much better could Vickie's mood be?
She was clearly in pain when she blurted out those words earlier.
It was as if all her frustrations that had been held back for so long were all released at once.
Why then did she feel an aching pain in her heart when she saw his wounded face?
Vickie raised her hand and held it over her heart.
It felt as though a small knife had stabbed her deeply in the heart until her blood had flown out. Her face subconsciously turned pale.
On the other hand, after Vickie left, Gregory kicked the sofa beside the bed heavily and just slammed the door and left.
He did not leave the chateau but went straight to the lounge he had just been in.
At the lounge, Yuliana Lynch was still there.
Harold had been standing guard at the door. He did not allow her to leave or anyone else to enter.
It was not until he saw Gregory coming this way that he took a step to the side, bowed slightly, and greeted respectfully, "Boss."
Gregory's eyes were as dark as ice. If he wanted to kill someone now, the people that saw his look would never suspect that he was joking.
He asked in a deep voice, "Where is she?"
"In there."
Harold seemed to sense his boss’ anger and with a slight twinge, he added, "Crying the whole time."
Gregory sneered.
Crying?
After all her effort to seduce him, his relationship with Vickie was now at an impasse, yet she still had the nerve to cry?
He did not say anything, but just kicked the door open and walked in.
Inside, Yuliana was curled up on the couch.
She was already confused, and the sudden change of events just now had messed up all of her plans.
The cold gaze that Gregory had given her had been deeply imprinted on her mind and she was unable to shake it off.
What could she do?
It seemed like he was truly furious. Could it be that he still would not accept her even after she did that?
Was it really because of that woman?
As she thought of this, her heart could not help but feel a surge of pleasure again.
This was good. That woman had seen them being intimate with her own eyes.
That way, even if nothing happened between herself and Gregory, in the eyes of outsiders, their relationship was apparent.
As long as she could make another effort to capture Gregory's heart, even if...it was just another superficial act.
The rest of the road would be smooth.
As she thought about it, she took a deep breath and was contemplating how to approach Gregory, when the door was kicked open with a bang.
This sound carried with it absolute anger, which startled Yuliana.
