Gregory Graham could never forget the way she looked at him at that moment.
Before that, she loved him as much as her own life, and after that incident, she only saw him as a lifelong enemy.
She used to gaze at him with happiness and brightness before. Later, there was only anger and hatred when she saw him.
That cold, emotionless look as if she was looking at a stranger was something he would never forget in his life and would never want to see again.
Gregory's hand suddenly softened.
Yuliana Lynch fell back onto the sofa. It felt as if she had just escaped danger. She immediately covered her throat and coughed violently.
The man looked at her coldly.
His gaze had no warmth and fell on Yuliana like a cold knife, which made her feel restless.
She turned her back to him and lowered her body. She did not dare to look him in the eyes.
A bad premonition arose in her heart and she felt that she might not be able to get away with it.
Just as she was considering what it would take to get Gregory to forgive her and let her go, the man suddenly spoke.
"You just said...that you love me very much?"
Yuliana was slightly stunned.
She raised her head and looked at him with some confusion.
Although she did not understand why he asked this, as long as there was the slightest chance, she would grab it without hesitation.
Therefore, she nodded her head and said eagerly, "Of course! I love you the most. If I didn’t love you, why would I have worked so hard to stay?"
Gregory smiled slightly.
That handsome and crisp face suddenly lost all its anger, and in its place was a cold, scheming playfulness.
Gregory walked over to the other sofa next to him and sat down.
He probed lightly.
"Oh? How much do you love me? Will you live for me or die for me?"
Yuliana froze.
Of course, she had not considered the matter of life and death.
A person like her was just an ordinary girl before she met Gregory.
No matter how much she loved or liked the person, it was only a matter of being willing to bear a child for the other person, so how would her life and death be involved?
However, at that moment, Gregory had intentions of letting her go, so she could not deny him at such a crucial point.
Thus, she nodded incessantly.
She tilted her head and looked up at him with an incomparably adoring gaze.
"Of course I'm willing! As long as it's something you need, as long as it's something I can do, I'm willing to do it for you!"
"Oh really?"
Gregory laughed lightly.
"Tsk...that love-struck, huh?"
He just leaned back against the sofa. His posture was calm and reserved. He crossed his long legs and placed his two hands on the armrest of the sofa, then periodically tapped on the armrest with his slender fingers.
After a moment of silence, he said in a deep voice, "In that case, I do have a matter for you to take care of."
Yuliana was stunned.
She looked at him dazed.
"What is it?"
Gregory smiled slightly and said, "Do you still remember Mr. Flinders that you met before?"
Yuliana nodded and said, "I remember."
"He's very interested in you. I want you to take care of him for me the next time he comes over."
