A sarcastic smile was seen from the corner of Vickie’s mouth. She was laughing but tears rolled down involuntarily.
"Gregory, you never trusted me from the start. You made me get charged with murder although I was obviously not the one who did it, so why are you talking about justice so hypocritically?"
"I know that as long as I stay here, I’ll become a hurdle for you and Yuliana to be together. Fine, I'll leave. But Gregory, don't forget, it’s you who’s in debt to me. You’ll be in debt to me for the rest of your life! From now on, even if I’ve nowhere to go, I'll never come to you again. We’ll never meet again in this life!"
After she finished speaking, she saw Gregory's eyes shook severely.
Then, he laughed.
"Never see each other again in this life? Very good, Vickie, remember what you said. Since you want to go, then go, get out of my sight! It’s best that you never come back, get out!"
He waved his hand to knock down the nearest flower stand as he finished speaking and walked away without looking back.
Although he had left, his fury seemed to remain in the room.
Everyone could not help but look at each other for a while. They did not know what to do.
They had a complicated feeling but were also full of sympathy for Vickie.
Mr. Osborne felt very sorry. He originally thought that these lovers would always be able to make up even after going through ups and downs.
Yet who would have expected things to suddenly become like this although everything was fine before this?
However, at that time, he did not think much about it.
Now that Gregory had already spoken to this point with such a violent temper, who knew what he might do. Thus, Mr. Osborne had to go out immediately to follow and keep an eye on him.
Therefore, he said to Vickie hurriedly, "Miss Thomas, the Young Master was just speaking impulsively earlier, so don't take it to heart. I’ll go out to see him."
Vickie curled her lips sarcastically.
"Uncle Osborne, thank you for taking care of me during this period. You’ve also seen it, it's not that I didn't want to lower my head, but that no matter how wrong I am, he’ll not believe me. In his heart, I’m no longer the same Vickie. Similarly, in my heart, he’s no longer the same Gregory. Therefore, I’ll take my leave. Whatever happened in the past, just forget it and let it go. Uncle Osborne, you don’t have to worry about me. Once I’ve packed my things, I’ll leave naturally."
Hearing this, Mr. Osborne frowned.
Vickie and Gregory were not the kind of people who could do things on impulse.
Yet for some reason, their reactions today were weirdly aggressive.
However, he did not have the time to think about it. Now that things had come to this point, it was no longer something he could worry about as a housekeeper.
Thus, he could only lower his head slightly and said regretfully, "Miss Thomas, please take care. If you need any help, just tell me, even if you’re not here."
What he said was considered as out of their personal relationship.
After all, he was Gregory's servant and the housekeeper of the chateau.
If Vickie left the chateau and asked him for help if something happened, it would inevitably seem as if he had betrayed Gregory if he helped.
However, even if that was the case, Mr. Osborne still said such a thing to Vickie, which showed his sincerity and care.
Vickie curled her lips and smiled slightly.
"Thank you, Uncle Osborne."
She did not refuse nor did she bear to refuse.
Mr. Osborne did not say anything and just turned away and left.
As soon as he left, the other servants naturally followed.
Now, Andrea and Vickie were the only ones left in the house.
Andrea panicked a little. She was standing outside earlier but she could hear the conversation inside clearly.
