Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 869

Not only was Mr. Osborne a very considerate and thoughtful person but he was also very fond of Vickie.

He knew that she was worried and did not want to go to see Gregory face to face, so out of his thoughtfulness, he came over and informed her, "Miss Thomas, you don't have to worry too much. The doctor has just checked on the Young Master. There are no major issues, only that he needs to be at home to recuperate during this period."

Vickie paused for a while as she pursed her lips and thought to herself, ‘I didn't ask how he was doing. Who gave you permission to tell me about his condition?’

In the end, she could only nod and say softly, "Mr. Osborne, it's been hard for you."

With a smile, Mr. Osborne said, "As long as you and Young Master are both doing well, it’s not difficult at all."

Vickie choked.

She did not know what Mr. Osborne meant by "both doing well".

Did he mean that each of them should be healthy and safe? Or did he mean that the two of them should be good towards each other and quit fighting?

Vickie was a little confused, and even more so, she could not stop thinking nonsense. When she realized that her thoughts had gone astray, she quickly stopped herself.

She said to Mr. Osborne, "I’m fine. Please go about your work."

Mr. Osborne left with a nod.

As Mr. Osborne left, Vickie too turned around and went back to her room.

It was not until dinner time when she saw Gregory again.

Gregory was injured, so naturally, he could not have his meal downstairs. However, he was reluctant to eat alone upstairs with the excuse that eating alone was boring and so he insisted that Vickie accompanied him.

How could Vickie not know what this man was thinking?

She did not want to go, but considering that he was still a patient, she went over reluctantly in the end.

Upstairs in the bedroom.

Mr. Osborne had ordered the servants to prepare the food in which, except for the few things that Gregory ate, the rest was Vickie’s favorites.

Since Gregory was now seriously injured, he could not eat a lot of things other than some light and nutritious food.

Although Vickie's injuries had not fully healed yet, most of her wounds had recovered and she was just waiting for her bones to grow back slowly.

Therefore, she did not have many food restrictions and she could eat anything, so the food in front of her was extremely sumptuous.

Mr. Osborne knew that Vickie had been working very hard for the past few days and had not been able to eat properly because she was worried about Gregory's safety, but today, she could finally be relieved of her worries. Needless to say, he had prepared the most delicious food for her to make up for it.

Vickie was not shy, and after she sat down, she began to eat.

Both of them were very quiet as they had been trained to do that since they were young.

No one spoke in the room. Only the sound of the two of them quietly chewing their food and the clinking sound when their chopsticks accidentally touched the bowls and dishes were heard.

Perhaps it was because he had just suffered a serious injury, so Gregory did not have much of an appetite.

He only ate half a bowl of porridge before he could not eat anymore.

Vickie paused, looked at the bowl he had put down, then gave him another half bowl of porridge without saying a word.

She said sternly, "Eat another half a bowl."

Gregory was dumbstruck.

He looked down at her and said, "I can't eat anymore."

Vickie said resolutely, "Even if you don’t want to, you should still eat a little more."

He should see for himself how much blood he had lost in the first place. How could he recover fast if he did not eat more to replenish his nutrition and energy?

Of course, she would never say these out loud.

Gregory looked at her. The woman had a good appetite and did not eat any less just because of the change in dining location.

As he watched her, he felt that his appetite had improved as a result.

With that, he picked up the bowl and began to eat again.

Next to them, Mr. Osborne had been watching all of this silently and he was more than delighted.

In the past, Gregory was the king of the chateau and he made all the decisions.

As long as he decided on something, no one else could convince him otherwise.

Thus, no one could influence his decisions.
