Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 882

As Andrea drank, she spilled all the things she had buried in her heart for years.

“Sister Vickie, did you know? I’m not really an orphan. I have a father, but I’ve never seen him since I was a child.”

She seemed to be a bad drinker. Her eyes began to glaze over after just a few glasses. Pouring more wine for herself, she muttered, “He abandoned my mother before I was born. Even after I was born and he found out about my existence, he never came looking for me.

“I used to think that he must have had some difficulties, so even though he never took any shred of responsibility since I was a child, I never hated him. But now, I realize that everything was just an excuse I made up for myself. He just didn’t want to acknowledge me at all.

“Even now that I’m grown up and don’t need him to do anything for me anymore, I just want to have a normal family like normal people, but he isn’t willing. Sister Vickie, do you think I’m pathetic? Am I too stupid?”

Vickie never expected that Andrea’s life would be like that.

A wave of sympathy rose in her heart and she patted the girl’s shoulder. “You’re not stupid. It’s that father of yours. It’s your so-called father who doesn’t deserve you.”

A long time ago, she already knew that there were some people in this world who were really just not worthy of being a parent. Therefore, she was not surprised that such people still existed in this world.

Although she did not know who Andrea’s father was, from what she heard, she could already imagine that he was a cold-hearted and selfish person.

Andrea mumbled with red eyes, “I also know that it’s not worth it, but I really want to be acknowledged by him someday. No one knows just how much I want to have a family, but now, it seems like I’ll never have one. Not only will I not have a home, but I also won’t have anything else either.”

As she spoke, her voice gradually trailed off. In the end, she slumped across the table.

Vickie nudged her shoulder and called, “Andrea?”

When the other party did not respond, she sighed helplessly. It seemed like Andrea was drunk.

She did not know who that father was, but he was able to do a cruel thing like seeing her and not acknowledging her. No matter who he was, it was best he did not encounter Vickie. Otherwise, she would never let him go for what he had done.

At this juncture, Vickie called the waiter for the bill, but she suddenly felt a little dizzy. She shook her head, thinking that she had not drunk much today.

Was it really because she had been recuperating from her injuries for too long that even her drinking capacity had deteriorated?

Fortunately, the dizziness was not serious and felt more like the tipsiness from drinking alcohol, so she was not worried.

After paying the bill, she woke Andrea up and told her that they were going back. Fortunately, although Andrea drank a lot, she was not too drunk.

Vickie did not want Jonathan to see Andrea like this, so she did not ask them to come in and help her. Instead, she picked the girl up by herself and walked out together.

As they walked outside, Andrea called her softly, “Sister Vickie.”

Vickie hummed. “What is it?”

“I wanna go to the toilet.”

Vickie turned to the side and saw a washroom in the hallway outside, so she said, “Okay, I’ll take you there.”

Then, she supported Andrea to the washroom.

Jonathan and the other bodyguards were in the booth next door. If anything happened, they could be notified.

However, Vickie did not call for them. She planned to get them to leave together after coming back from the washroom. Thus, at this very moment, they did not know that Vickie and Andrea had already left their booth.
