The air screamed as the blood-forged weapon tore through it, a blur of fury and precision. The nearest clan member barely had time to react before the lance impaled both him and his snow wolf in one devastating sweep. Blood sprayed outward in an arc, dyeing the snow red. Both of them were gravely wounded and on the ground.
But Damon did not bother to finish them off just yet. He needed to cull down the numbers first before he drained them dry. The main advantage these men had right now were their numbers and he needed to take care of it first.
His blood archive pumped him with more and more blood energy as he moved from one clan member to another. Another guy charged at him from the back with a glowing brand of soul energy in his palm, coiling like ghostfire. Damon decided it was a good attack to test the waters and met the attack head on by covering his own forearm with pure blood energy.
The soul blast carved a searing line across his flesh but he did not even flinch. It was not nearly enough to wound him, just removed a small chunk of his health. Damon’s grin widened at this and the other guy’s face paled. He stared at Damon as if he was looking at a monster and instantly regretted the decision to participate in this fight.
"I..." The guy opened his mouth but Damon did not give him a chance to talk. With a roar, he grabbed the man’s face and slammed it into the ground. He plunged his claws into the man’s chest and pulled back, sucking dry all of the blood energy in his body, leaving behind only a dried husk.
Behind him, five wolves charged at him at the same time, massive, snarling beasts with eyes like shards of frozen sapphire and breath that steamed like boiling mist. Damon didn’t turn. He didn’t need to. He used Blood Manipulation.
Five blood arrows appeared instantly behind his back shooting forward like bullets. Before the wolves could even get near him, they were shot right dead in their chests, severely injuring them. Damon needed 10 extra seconds but he used it to drain the wolves dry. His blood supply was the only thing keeping him going tonight he did not want to waste a single drop of it.
One guy tried to attack him while he was absorbing the blood essence but Damon swiftly took care of him with another arrow. Blood skills used a lot less blood energy when compared to skills that used mana. It had to do with the compatibility of the element. He decided to stick with his blood manipulation skills for the rest of the fight to conserve a little.
Damon did not get a single second break as one after another beasts and men continued to attack him. His killing intent and blood aura flared brighter than ever as he continued slaughtering everything that came his way.
For the first time the ice clan was witnessing the strength of the real Blood God and they shivered and trembled in response. All this time Damon hadn’t once reacted to their bad mouthing and derogatory comments which made subconsciously think of him as someone weak and someone who needed their help. But tonight every single person of the big clan witnessed the power of the current top player of the game.
While Damon slaughtered and plundered on one side, Artimius was doing his own damage on the other side. He did not lose out to Damon as the old man’s sword skills were impeccable. His sword was chopping the heads of his own family but the old man didn’t seem to care about it at all. He was ruthless at his core as he culled down those who dared to stand against him.
