“I think that Jiang Mohan will definitely be upset that you leaked his private information including his preferences, right?”
“Are you threatening me?” A grim expression crossed Nan Cheng’s face. He was indeed worried that she would tell Jiang Mohan all these. It was not because he was afraid of her telling him, but rather, he did not want him to over-think.
“Have you thought it through?” Li Xiaohui raised her brows, looking certain of her victory.
Nan Cheng replied, “I understand.”
With that, he turned around and left.
Li Xiaohui smirked as she stared at his back.
Nan Cheng headed to the company directly. However, Jiang Mohan did not go to the office today and no one knew where he went.
Flustered, Nan Cheng combed the place for him.
Recalling how Jiang Mohan had asked about Zong Yanxi, he headed to the house he had stayed in with her after they got married.
If he did not go there, he would’ve been completely oblivious to everything that was going on. When he reached the house, he spotted Jiang Mohan and discovered that he was secretly investigating Zong Yanxi.
The man beside him was reporting the outcome of his investigation. “This is where both of you lived after you got married.”
Jiang Mohan stood in front of the villa, his gaze becoming grim. Although he looked calm on the surface, there was already a turmoil of emotions raging within him.
“What else did you discover?” he asked in a low voice.
“Not much for now,” replied the man.
A tinge of disappointment crept into Jiang Mohan’s voice. “Continue the investigation.”
“Yes.” With that, the man left.
Nan Cheng watched as Jiang Mohan entered the estate and stayed there for a long time.
He suddenly realized that he might have been wrong.
What I thought is good for him may not necessarily be the case.
This is his life after all and he has the right to do whatever he wants.
I have no right to intervene.
“Perhaps, I should help you find your happiness again.” Nan Cheng whipped out his phone and called Li Xiaohui. “Wait for my updates.”
She happily replied, “Sure.”
