Chapter 1038
The man’s voice was strangely tempting as he whispered words into Fia’s mind.
She smiled, but it was one of animosity.
LL
…I’ll have my revenge! I want them to get what they deserve!”
That man then said, “Why don’t you let me help you?”
Fia asked numbly, “Why are you helping me?”
“Because it’s fun! Ahaha!” The man’s modulated voice sounded like screeching.
Fia continued with a dispassionate expression. “What do you want?”
“You’re smart.” the man sighed. “I’ll help you, but you’ll be forever loyal to me. You’ll never betray me, nor will you escape me.”
It was a dark and stormy night.
Eileen had just left the district that she and Fia loved to go to when they were in university.
“Fia, where are you…?”
She walked on the road aimlessly. Perhaps it was because of the cold autumn, or perhaps It was because of the rain, there were few people on the road.
However, she didn’t care if someone would find out who she was anymore.
She had been searching for Fia the whole day, but she hadn’t found anything new.
Suddenly, she slipped on a puddle and fell.
“Fia!”
She sat in the puddle as the rain completely engulfed her.
She didn’t care if it was dirty or if it would ruin her image anymore.
“Fia, where are you?!”
She wailed in the rain as she covered her face.
If she knew that this was how things would be, she would have left Gryphon… Left Fortuna together with Fia!
The further away the better!
A Maserati stopped next to her and a man wearing casual clothing got out of the car with a black umbrella. He walked over to Eileen.
He shielded her from the rain so that the rain wouldn’t be able to touch her.
Eileen raised her head. No one knew if the water on her face were tears or raindrops.
She looked at the man under the umbrella with her blurry eyes. “Can you… help me find Fla?”
Victor’s grip on the umbrella tightened. “I’ve already sent my men to search for her.”
Eileen grabbed hold of her pants and slowly stood up, then held his arm that was holding the
umbrella.
“As long as you can help find Fia… I’m willing to do anything you want me to do. Anything…”
Her sobbing was drowned by the rain.
Victor had never felt so upset before.

The readers' comments on the novel: Stop It, She’s Remarrying (Fia and Conrad)
I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
