Silas immediately opened his eyes. “Sir!” 

Conrad was not in the ward, but the window was open.

Conrad looked at her and said, “Did you know? She didn’t appear in my dreams for so many 

days…” 

Eileen couldn’t say a word. 

“The internet said that as long as I thought of her, she would one day come to see me in my dreams. But she didn’t come…” 

Conrad’s eyes went blank. “Is it because I didn’t think of her? Or did she already drink from River Lethe?”
