“What’s wrong with him?” Adrian asked with a frown.
Fia simply lowered her eyes.
“He’s going to die soon.”
“Can’t you save him?”
When Fia heard that, she shook her head.
“You can,” Irene said in a confident tone.
“He’s a good person. Why don’t you want to save him?”
The two pairs of innocent eyes looked at Fia, and she couldn’t help shaking.
“Mommy, please save him.”
Fia finally let out a sigh.
“This is the last time. From now on, he has nothing to do with us anymore.”
Her twins were completely focused on Conrad.
That was something she couldn’t imagine at first.
She wondered how they would feel once they found out that Conrad was their real father.
When the twins heard that Fia agreed to it, a brilliant smile instantly appeared on their faces.
Fia looked at Conrad in front of her, who already looked like a corpse.

I had known that the ending would be like this , I would never had read this book. It didn’t have a right ending at all. Made no sense. Don’t waste your time....
Evil should never win and Lucifer has harmed far to many....
This should not end this way. Fia, rather than following Lucifer’s evil path should reflect and realize that she has always loved Conrad and he has always loved her. Their problems were due to the interference of others, Beryl, Esme etc . Since she is the only one that can approach Lucifer, she and Peter should cooperate with each other, kill Lucifer and evil Beryl, Peter can remove the toxins/ poison from everyone and each will be able to live normal lives without interfering with others relationship's. The children deserve their real father who will love them dearly and provide and protect them with the life they deserve. Gia has been a fool since the beginning and has believed everyone but her beloved husband. Please end this on a good note, that is why we all read these stories, everyone loves a happy ending....
