The usually quiet Griffith Organization was lively today. Except for Joshua who was often fooling around and August who

was always reserved, there were other guests sitting in the hall. Flynt's eyes narrowed and fell on Lucia. He was not

wrong about her. This woman was special. Now he found a new target to train.

"Quit thinking about it. She's not suitable." Joshua read his mind and advised him.

August, who had remained silent, slowly folded his arms on his chest and scoffed, "Why? Your woman can and my

woman can't?"

Joshua's face fell. Before he could retort, Sophie jumped out. "Damn, that's nonsense."

Never would she take such an idiot as her man. Lucia quietly approached August with curiosity written on her face. "Do you think that Dr. Capet and Joshua will be together in the end?"

August helplessly stroked her head. His wife was good in every aspect but relationships. Joshua might look like a jerk. He

was not a real playboy. Sophie had challenged his bottom-line time and time again but was still around him. Joshua even

brought her here, which showed how much he cared about her. Unaware of it, Sophie glared at Joshua and winked at him

as a signal for him to clarify things.

Joshua felt helpless. He had pissed Sophie off again today, and the latter had clamored to smash his clubhouse. He was

really afraid of her bodacious character. To save his business, he had to take her here.

"Come on, stop fanning the flames," he protested with a wry face.

Sophie rolled her eyes and heavily pinched him in the waist. Joshua cried out in pain, which satisfied her. Flynt ran his

eyes over the crowd till they fell on August. "Have you really made up your mind?"

The lively hall instantly fell into dead silence. August raised his eyebrows, looked at the man, and said in a deep voice,

"My presence here today speaks of the answer."

Flynt nodded, spread the map of Austos City on the table, and pointed to an inconspicuous spot. "This is the location.

where Ethan last appeared."

"That's a bustling area. Ethan can't be so stupid as to expose himself under our noses. It should be a ploy and may be a

transfer point," Lucia said doubtfully, rubbing her lips.

Flynt cast her an appreciative glance. "That's right. Our informants have searched the area but found no traces."

"We don't even know his hideout. We can only take precautions and wait for him to contact us." She clenched her fists

and pounded August's thigh, "This won't work. It's too passive!"

August frowned and grabbed her hand.

"So, we'll find a way to lure him out," Flynt said solemnly. "You guys are the best baits."

"I'll go!" Lucia immediately volunteered.

"No!" August and Joshua rejected it at the same time.

Joshua knew that August would not agree. For fear of another conflict between August and Flynt, he hurried to voice his

opinion.

"Lucia is new to this place and has zero experience. This is no different from sending a hostage to him. The best

candidates should be August and me. The grudge between Ethan and August is ocean deep."

Flynt narrowed his eyes and said, "She's not a newbie. I heard that she engaged Ethan and beat him."

"That was just a trick. There is no grudge between them anyway."

"Says who?" Flynt slammed a picture down on the table and sneered, "Here is a clue provided by the police station. It was

him who helped Ethan."

Lucia gasped at the sight of the person in the picture.

"Mark?" August's cold voice rang out, "He has no reason to help Ethan."

"Jeanne is dead," Flynt paused, noticed Lucia's bloodless face, and lowered his voice, "Half a month ago, she died in the

police station because of heart failure."

Lucia couldn't help shaking. Although she had been through a lot, she had never encountered death. That woman, who

used to strut in front of her, departed the world in such a way. Joshua made no comments this time, and the hall fell into

a long silence. Sophie looked sideways at him, furrowed her brows, and sized him up. She suddenly felt that she didn't

really know everything about him. What she had seen through was just his disguise.

She slowly curled her lips, cleared her throat, and said smartly, "Remember me?"

They looked over, and Lucia understood her implication. "Dr. Capet is good at reading minds. She can figure out what
