The smile on Faceless' lips deepened as she leaned in to whisper a few words into Black Puma's ear.
Upon hearing Faceless' words, Black Puma frowned and asked, "Can this really incite internal strife among them, buying me time to withdraw? For a man of power and influence like Artemis, isn't it quite normal to have several women at his side? Even if he has some kind of ambiguous relationship with Rebecca, Bailey should be able to accept it, right? After all, it's natural for a man to flirt around."
Faceless shook her head with a smile, a hint of mockery flashing in her eyes. "You're overestimating Bailey. She gets jealous easily. If Artemis truly wronged her, she could turn Zaewora upside down, causing a huge uproar. When she attempts to hold Artemis responsible, she won't have the time to compete with you. You just need to withdraw from Zaewora as originally planned."
Only after she repeatedly assured him that nothing would go wrong did Black Puma finally put his mind at ease.
"What do I need to do for you?"
"Nothing, Mr. Black Puma. All I ask is that you keep your promise and lend me a hand when I capture Bailey. What I want is not power, money, or territory. All I want is something that Bailey holds in her hands. Let's make this a win-win situation."
The Black Puma laughed heartily, his hands starting to fidget.
Faceless suppressed the urge to knock him off with a punch, allowing him to have his way.
Bailey, you still couldn't resist coming to Zaewora, could you? Very well, I'll present you with a grand gift tonight. I hope you'll like it.
Inside Artemis' accommodation study, Ken reported the situation at Xemrich's winery to Artemis.
"Mr. Luther, Faceless has appeared. She entered from a hot spring pool at the southwest corner of the winery, avoiding all surveillance. We were only able to track her whereabouts through satellite images. We can confirm that it's her."
As for the Black Puma, he hasn't shown up yet. It's also possible that her visit to the winery wasn't to see the Black Puma, but to meet with Orion."
Artemis gently tapped on the table, squinting as he asked, "Are you suggesting she hid Orion in this winery?"
Ken nodded and said, "We've searched all over Zaewora and still haven't found Orion. He might be hidden in Black Puma's main camp, but the likelihood of this happening is slim. After all, Faceless is not foolish. She understands the risks involved in bargaining with someone dangerous. How could she possibly hand over her only bargaining chip to the Black Puma? If I were her, I would definitely keep the hostage's whereabouts under tight wraps, not letting anyone else know. After all, that's her only bargaining chip to threaten Mrs. Luther."
Artemis nodded, seemingly agreeing with the analysis.
No matter who was hidden in the winery, he was determined to find out.
He had been in Zaewora for a week now, and there had been absolutely no progress on the mission. This was something that would have been unthinkable in the past.
During his tenure, he never took more than ten days to suppress a faction. Typically, he would have his trap set within a week, and all he had to do was wait.
Now, he didn't even know where his target was, let alone set a trap for them.
"Get ready. We're leaving in an hour."
"Understood." Ken thought of Rebecca, then asked, "What about Ms. Sutton? Should we inform her?"
"No need." Informing her would only bring trouble for myself.
Bailey arrived at her destination, Ordano, at two in the afternoon.
Although the country was not large, it was internationally renowned as an oil exporter with a thriving maritime trade due to its location along a strategic gulf.
