Bailey made her way into the study before answering the phone. “What is it?”

“There's something I need to tell you about. I've long since known about Zephyr being Veronique's son. After testing her out last night, I can confirm that the boy is indeed Justin's son.”

Bailey froze as she recalled Zayron's words from earlier and understood what was going on.

Bill shifted his gaze back toward Olivia and Christopher as he continued, “My daughter's actions were the result of my poor parenting. For that, I am sorry. Please rest assured that I will keep a close eye on her from now on. I won't let her harass Justin ever again.”

“Your daughter overestimated herself and thought she could take the Fletcher family on, but you know better. I'm sure you're well aware of their background. Sloan has chosen Justin as his son-in-law, and that isn't something your daughter should be messing with. What she did nearly put both our families in harm's way. I think you should teach her an unforgettable lesson, Mr. Revelle,” Olivia replied with a sneer.

Bill closed his eyes briefly before opening them with a hint of decisiveness on his face. “Fetch me the whip, Alfred.”

The butler, Alfred, was shocked when he heard that. “Sir, Ms. Veronique has yet to recover from her injuries from seven years ago. You might break her bones if you whip her! Maybe—”

“Save it, Alfred. Just do as I say and bring me the whip.”

With his teeth clenched, Alfred ran out of the living room to retrieve the whip.

Justin frowned as he stared at Veronique with a sympathetic look in his eyes.
