It was then her phone, which was sitting on the table next to the bed, rang. Beatrice grabbed it, glanced at the screen, and said, “It's the spy you planted in the Luther family. Do you want to take this call?”

Rhonda calmed down, stifling the strong waves of emotions in her heart, and grabbed the phone.

After talking on the phone for a while, she hung up and started cackling.

She laughed so hard that tears formed at the edges of her eyes.

Beatrice furrowed her eyebrows. “What's going on?”

Rhonda's grip around her phone tightened as she uttered one word at a time, “Joyce just told me that Gerald had invited Zoey to visit the Luther residence in two days so he can celebrate her birthday, too. However, Artemis won't be there because of an emergency.”

Then, she grabbed her mother's hand forcefully with excitement. “I need to go back to the Luther residence, Mommy. I need to personally see the twisted expression on Zoey's face when she learns Artemis ditched her to celebrate Bailey's birthday!”

Beatrice thought for a while and nodded. “Then let's go. We can use this opportunity to flaunt in front of her and aim her attacks in Bailey's direction. What a wonderful show it'll be when those two women fight against each other.”
