Legendary Racer? What? What does he mean by that?
“Holy sh*t! Could it be that she's Adhira?” someone exclaimed in astonishment over the microphone.
That person's words stirred up a hornet's nest, and the entire place was filled with excited shouts and screams.
Shock, astonishment, and utter disbelief were written on the audience's faces.
“No, that's impossible. How could she be Adhira? Adhira has never been to Hallsbay. There is no way she's Adhira.”
Corey could not take it. He felt like his whole world was crashing down.
He was aware of the gulf between himself and her. He also had the utmost respect for her, but he wanted to make use of the loopholes in the rules to reclaim the championship title.
However, reality slapped him in the face.
He had just claimed earlier that she did not have the right to participate in the competition. Yet in the next second, she was revealed to be Adhira; the person who was the most qualified to be a substitute in the competition. It was practically a slap in the face.
“She is Adhira.”
The head of the racing association stated firmly, “It is Adhira. She's the one who always wears a helmet at every competition to hide her true identity. The one and only Adhira who wins every competition she participates in.”
Corey took several steps back and leaned against the car's hood for support.
He stared at Bailey in disbelief and said shakily, “Y-You really are Legendary Racer Adhira? There are thousands of people here, Bailey. You had better not be lying because it will backfire on you.”
Bailey smirked.
She was not afraid of things backfiring on her because she had been the one to deal blows on others recently.
She took the microphone from the head of the association and said with a smile, “Four years ago, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet Dexter. Everyone knows that he is an avid racer with superb driving skills. I learned some skills from him and made a bit of a name for myself. Hello, everyone. I am Adhira, the one rumored to be extremely ugly because I am always wearing a helmet and refuse to show my face.”
Everyone was shocked when they heard that.
The head of the racing association had said she was Adhira, and she admitted to it in front of so many people.
That had to mean that she was really Adhira.
“Ahh! My hero, Adhira! You finally showed yourself in public! I'm so excited!”
“To be honest, I'm not surprised at all that Adhira is Bailey.”
“I agree. Big Shot has so many amazing identities that this one isn't all that shocking.”
“I must ambush her at the exit and get an autograph from her.”
The crowd had gone wild.
