The doctor went straight back to the infirmary after taking samples of Juliana's amniotic fluid.
By then, Philip was already waiting inside.
“I've obtained the sample, Mr. Hoffman. Shall we start with the verification now?”
Philip nodded and was about to say something when a young man walked in from outside. It was Juliana's cousin and Philip's son, Tucker Hoffman.
“Wait. There's something I need to say.”
Philip looked up at his son instinctively and asked, “What is it?”
Tucker sat opposite him and waved at the doctor, gesturing for him to go out. “Leave us first, and don't do anything to do the samples for now. We'll deal with it once we've finished our discussion.”
“Yes, Mr. Tucker.”
When the doctor left, Philip narrowed his eyes at his son and asked with a frown, “Why are you acting so paranoid? Speak your mind, and don't stutter or be hesitant with your words.”
Tucker's face was a little grim as he said in a low voice, “Don't forget, Father. Juliana has a master who's the world's top hacker. What if we did the paternity test here, and her master hacks the hospital medical system and tampers with the report?”
Philip's face darkened instantly when he heard that, finally realizing that he had overlooked something important.
That's right. That d*mned Juliana's master is the top hacker, Spook. There's no safety system she can't hack. Moreover, her master is well-versed in medicine and is a famous miracle doctor named Anonymous. Hacking the system and changing the report is no difficult feat for her.
The more he thought about it, the more his expression darkened.
Fortunately, Tucker thought of this, or I'd have to suffer a great loss because of it.
“Then what do you propose we do? No one will notice if Spook decides to hack the system. There's no way she'll leave a trace, so how are we supposed to deal with this?”
