Wayne turned his head from side to side, yawning as he eyed a gift bigger than himself. He figured his birth could be seen as a graduation gift for his mom and decided it was time for a nap.
In the living room, Jade called out, “Chad, Chad! come get your son, he’s in the way of my present-opening spree.”
Grandpa Elmer, beaming, approached and said, “Molly, let me hold him. You take your time with the presents, I’ve got my great-grandson to snuggle.”
Kendrick and Coleen always thought of themselves as young, with their son just hitting his early twenties and their daughter barely stepping into adulthood. In what felt like the blink of an eye, their kids were parents, and they were grandparents. Yet, in their hearts, their daughter was still their little girl, not quite grown up.
Wayne’s arrival was probably the biggest delight for Grandma Aubree and Grandpa Elmer. In the whole family, Chad was the only one who treated Molly like a grown-up, especially when night fell.
Late at night, Chad made his move, pulling Molly in close. He leaned in with a playful grin, gently teasing open her pajama buttons with his lips, “Molly, now that you’ve graduated, you can sleep in every day.”
Molly blushed, feeling flustered and out of her element, “Chad, don’t bite my collarbone, it tickles!”
Chad chuckled, letting his tongue glide over her skin, giving Molly goosebumps. Her soft, alluring voice made Chad swallow hard, unable to hold back any longer…
Wayne spent the night surrounded by grandparents, great-grandparents, and the nanny… but no mom and dad in sight.
In the bedroom, Molly was feeling a mix of discomfort and excitement, biting her lip to stifle any noises. She could hear her husband’s deep growls in the quiet room, her heart racing.
