Molly cradled her son as she nursed him, chuckling softly, "Looks like my lazy dragon's enjoying his lunch again."
Naomi's voice shook with urgency, "Molly, keep your little one safe. Don't leave the office unless someone from the Cedillo family is there to pick you up."
"What's going on, Naomi?" Molly asked, still in the dark about the situation.
Naomi's anxiety spiked, fearing trouble was once again knocking at their door, threatening her family. "Mia's been kidnapped."
Molly dismissed the idea with a wave, "That can't be right. No ten men could take on our Mia. Who'd be crazy enough to try?"
"And Henry too," Naomi added.
Molly's face turned serious, "Naomi, who did this?"
By noon, Molly handed her still-hungry son to her mom. Little Wayne, eyeing his mom's chest, began to wail, prompting Coleen to ask, "What's wrong, honey?"
Molly's voice quivered as she struggled to process everything, "Mom, Mia and Henry have been kidnapped. I need to find them."
Tears slipped down her cheeks as she spoke.
Coleen, sensing the urgency, kept her daughter in the office, "You're not going anywhere until we know more. Sit down and count to twenty to calm yourself."
Wayne, watching his mom cry, slowly stopped his own tears, wondering if his inability to sit up had upset her so much.
Snuggled in his grandma's arms, Wayne clumsily grabbed at the buttons on her dress, trying to sit up. But his mom wasn't paying him any attention, and he fell back on the couch, wailing again.
Molly was still trying to calm her racing mind, "I need to find Chad, and Leo too."
Meanwhile, in a secluded courtyard...
The blindfold was yanked off Mia's face, revealing a bleak, rundown setting, far from any bustling roads, probably out in the suburbs.
Pushed inside, she spotted Annie unconscious on the floor. Henry recognized her too—his godmother.
