Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1242

Henry was as easygoing as they come, wrapping his tiny arms around his dad's neck while his chubby little face turned towards the window, eagerly searching for his dad’s car.

“When Kon shows up, planning to slip away from Waverly with Troy, what’s our move?”

“Let him go, but have our folks disguise themselves and tag along on the boat. And also…”

With Andre's instructions in mind, his team quickly set things in motion.

Henry remained perched in his dad's arms by the window. Spotting his dad’s car, he excitedly reached out, “Daddy’s car!”

Andre ended his call, grabbed his keys, and headed out.

With no particular destination, he wandered around downtown before eventually making his way back home to Maplewood Estates.

The yard was impeccably clean, thanks to the servants, but the house felt a bit empty without the usual family buzz.

Back at home, Henry made a beeline for the swing set, “Dad!”

“Come down. Wait for your mom to join you, and then I'll give you both a push.” Simplified: Without mom, dad wasn’t up for pushing.

Pointing to a little ginkgo tree, Andre asked, “Do you know how old it is?”

Henry curiously attempted to uproot his ginkgo tree.

Mia, worn out from studying, stepped outside for a breather. “Where are my husband and son?” She searched high and low for them, “Weird, have they time-traveled again?”

By afternoon, the father-son duo had returned, and they headed out with Mia for a laid-back dinner at the Irvin family’s place, enjoying a carefree, delightful day.

Kon was set up to “head home” on a small boat with 20 people, 19 of whom were old friends pretending to be strangers, all to keep Kon in the dark.

Kon, thinking his hand was healed, relaxed. “Tell Troy, saving my hand’s like saving my life. I’ll repay him handsomely.”

The 19 others exchanged glances, none speaking up.

Over at the Dark Web, Maja was under watch as she sat on a couch, meticulously trimming her nails and checking her handiwork with satisfaction.

Two guards stood behind her, with two more stationed at the door.

“Is Kon back yet?” she inquired.

The guards were on alert, “Mr. Kon will find you when he returns. If he hasn’t, he’s not back yet. You’d better play it safe and think about how you’ll explain yourself when Mr. Kon returns.” After all, Maja held the fate of some Dark Web members in her hands.

Content with her nails, Maja chuckled, “If Kon’s out of the picture, who’s next in line to take charge?”
