Chapter 661
The disgusting smell of perfume made Kevan frown. He pushed her away coldly and said. “Get lost!
The others were busy bringing the girls into their tap, so the big commotion with Kevan scared them so much that they all became quiet.
The boss froze for a moment. Then he seemed to realize something because he hit his forehead with a laugh and said, “Haha, look at my forgetfulness!”
He got the girl to leave, and he summoned the server. He pointed at Kevan and said something quietly to the server. The server nodded several times before leaving the room.
“Don’t mind iL Mr. Rogers.” The boss apologized again rather sincerely.
Kevan replied hall-heartedly. “It’s fine.”
A few moments later, the private room doors opened again. The server led in a tall and thin young man inside. The man seemed to be in his twenties, and he was wearing a cheap, colorful sult. The man had makeup on his lace, and he looked somewhat olly.
He raced toward Kevan and did what the girl from before did.
Kevan had not guessed the man’s identity at first, so he was not prepared. When the man melted onto him and actually put his lips on Kevan’s cheek, Kevan stood up angrily. He ignored everyone else’s pleading for him to stay and walked out of the private room without looking back.
Kevan went to the washroom at once. He turned on the tap and washed the cheek that got kissed over and over again. But no matter how he washed, he could not let go of the matter when he thought of that disgusting moment.
The sounds of footsteps could be heard inside heading outside.
Kevan was busy washing his face, so he did not look up. Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded next to him, “Mr, Rogers?” It had a note of
Surprise in it. “What happened?”
Kevan paused for a moment before looking up. He saw Lewis’ face in the mirror, Lewis was looking at him too. Their gaze met through the
mirror, and Kevan turned away awkwardly. He turned off the tap and got a few tissues to wipe his wet lace.
“When did you come back to Caldor?” Kevan stood up straight and asked Lewis with forced calm. However, his heart was pounding like crazy. His nervousness and fear mixed together, and it made the hands he had stuffed into his pockets tremble.
“The day before yesterday.” Lewis answered him while he washed his hands. “We have a business deal with Arrow Trade. Mir, Logan asked me to come to be his representative.”
Arrow Trade Company was an import and export trading company. They have a business venture with Microworks e-commerce platforms, too. so Kevan was not unfamiliar with them.
“Oh.” Kevan nodded. He wanted to continue by asking about Larissa’s situation, but he could not bring himself to speak. With anything about Larissa, he was always like an ostrich-Il he did not hear the truth, he could keep lying to himsell. But even if he did not mention it.
Lewis may not do the same.
“The thing you asked me to pass on to Lari, Ive given it to her,” Lewis said calmly. His face showed no changes, so it seemed he was only
Just informing him of this matter.
Kevan could not tell what Larissa’s reaction was from Lewis’ tone of voice, so he only mumbled a thank you.
“I’ll be leaving first.” Lewis dried his hands. “If you have time, Mr. Rogers, let’s have a meal together someday.” He was not asking for
Kevan’s opinion.
Kevan felt that Lewis had something to say, so he decided on the time at once. “Tomorrow then. I will clear my schedule for the night”
Lewis readily agreed. “Sure.”
Aher Lewis left. Kevan did not continue washing his face. He did not return to the private room either. Instead, Kevan turned off his phone
and drove to his company.
He can only temporarily numb himsell by working now and forget the nervousness he was feeling.
Early the next morning. Dylan barged into Kevan’s office.
“I’ve finally found you!” Dylan was very angry. “I called you for the whole night yesterday! Why is your phone turned off?”
