Aster and Wendy had a great time playing in the theme park. They walked out hand in hand, their laces flushed red with happiness. 

Larissa handed them a cup of hot coffee and milk respectively. She had prepared drinks in advance. She reached out to Aster and discovered that he was covered in sweat. His body was radiating heat from running around and playing.

Larissa made a reservation for lunch at a restaurant famous for their burgers and fries. Aster loved fast food like this, but Larissa usually didn’t allow him to eat them. 

Wendy teased Larissa. Feeling threatened? Are you trying to win back your son’s love from Mr. Rogers?” 

Larissa rolled her eyes and replied curtly, “Gel last!” 

Wendy smirked and gave her a meaningful smile. She placed her arm on Aster’s shoulder and urged him to walk faster. “Hurry up, run! Your mom’s getting angry. She might even beat us up!” 

As he ran, Aster turned his head back to observe Larissa’s expression. With a smile on her face. Larissa put on the demeanor of a kind and

Larissa wasn’t fond of fast food. Taking a few fries, she already felt full. Her phone was placed on the table. Even though there were no messages, she found hersell unlocking her phone every few minutes to check her WhatsApp.

All those years of friendship thrown out of the window because of a man! What’s more. I’m now considered an outsider! How shallow and lickle human relationships could be!”
