Chapter 733
“Hasn’t he been calling you Daddy all this while?” Larissa pretended to not understand Kevan
Still Kevan persisted. “You know what I mean.”
Larissa bit her lip and fell silent.
Kevan continued stemly, “You should know how much Aster craves a father’s love. Larissa, our issues should not involve Aster. He has
the right to have both a father and a mother.”
Larissa understood everything Kevan said, but —
“How are you going to explain to him your years of absence in his be? How are you going to tell him about our past? Right, and that daughter of yours. Aster doesn’t like her, and vice versa. How are you going to handle the relationship between them going forward?”
Larissa’s questions were like landmines that stood between Kevan and Aster.
Kevan paused for a moment and said hesitantly. “I have a perfect solution to all of this
Larissa’s curiosity was piqued. “What solution?”
“Let’s get married.”
“Hey! Hey!” Wendy stretched out her hand and waved it in front of Larissa SL Larissa remained motionless.
“Oh my god! Alastair, your mom seems to have stopped working Wendy exclaimed as she hugged Aster tightly.
Aster believed Wendy’s theatrics as he watched Larissa in a daze. Aster shook Larissa’s shoulders. He was close to tears. “Mommy!

Larissa regained her senses. Noticing their puzzled expressions, she asked. “What’s wrong with you guys?”
“We should ask you that question!” Wendy peeked at the materials in front of Larissa, hoping to get some clues. “What are you reading? You have been staring blankly at it for such a long time! I’ve tried calling you but you didn’t respond!”
“Oh, it’s nothing.” Larissa closed the file before her and thought of an excuse. “I couldn’t understand some parts, so I spent some time
mulling over it.”
She held Aster in her arms and stood up. “Im feeling hungry. What should we have for dinner?”
They had takeout for dinner,
Larissa seemed preoccupied throughout dinner. While she cleared the table, her hand slipped and the food remnants spilled on her
clothes.
Wendy quickly took over the chores and pushed Larissa Into her bedroom. “Take a shower and rest early. You need to have a good night’s sleep to dazzle everyone at the banquet tomorrow!”
After taking a shower, Larissa lay down on the bed, but she couldn’t sleep.
She kept thinking of what Kevan had said, “I’ll give you a week to think about it. Regardless of whether you agree to marry me or not, I will
