“Seems like M. Logan wants to matchmake us.”
Mike rested on the edge of the table and stared as Gary weaved among the crowd.
Larissa almost choked as she didn’t expect him to be so direct

made them sound sincere,

Larissa guessed that this was the reason why her father had taken
“Thank you for your kind words, Mr. Young.” Larissa clinked her glass with his. “It’s my pleasure to know you as well”
She knew that it was out of courtesy. Mike’s smile widened.
As Gary predicted, they had similar lite experiences, thus they had many common topics to talk about.
Larissa quite liked this witty and humorous man. Of course, she only liked him as a friend.
Alas, their lively conversation could convey a diferent meaning to others who were watching them..
Gary stood at a distance and observed Larissa’s expression.
Seeing that she seemed receptive to Mike, Gary told Lewis, “See, I told you she would like Mike.”
Lew’s remained silent with a grave expression on his face.
“The issue with Larissa is that she’s encountered too few men! Otherwise, how would she be charmed by a man like Kevan?”
Gary’s eyes were filled with joy and his words sounded a little smug. When he spoke about Kevan, he curled his lips in distaste.
