Kevan jolted hard, and his lips froze at Larissa’s neck. However, his arms tightened around her and she had trouble breathing. 

Larissa sighed to herself and she lightly patted his back. 

“So, you came to Westonia for a business trip? She used a much more relaxing tonic to try to change the room’s atmosphere. 

Kevan did rol respond though. 

Larissa waited for had a minute before she used an excuse for her own sake. “You did say that you were coming for a business trip.” 

However, a lew seconds later. Kevan said dully. “No.” 

He was like Aster. They liked burying their faces in her neck. When they spoke, their lips rubbed against her skin, and it made her super uncomfortable. 

Larissa shilled a little and locked at Kevan in confusion. “Huh?” 

Kevan locked over to lock gazes with her too. 

“I didn’t come here for a business trip.” He said with such seriousness. “I came here specifically to see you.” 

Larissa’s heart skipped a beat. She hurriedly avoided his burning gaze as her voice took on an unnatural tone. “Didn’t you say that you were going on a business trip through our last video call?” 

“I didn’t think that you’d find me at that time. If I told you the truth, you won’t let me come.” Kevan confessed. 

Before Wency accidentally mentioned the banquet Kevan had not received any invitation for tonight’s event 

He only found out that Gary intended to reveal Larissas identity at the banquet after digging for information from Lewis. 

This was an important point in Larissa’s life. Kevan wanted to witness it in person. So, he pushed all the work that could be pushed into 

next week. 

Kevan spent the entire day without eating or sleeping to complete the other work. After that, he finally booked a flight that would take off shortly after midnight. 

Who knew that Larissa would text him to ask if she could video call him after he just reached the airport? 

Although he knew that he might get exposed once Larissa saw him in the waiting room of the airport, Kevan could not bear to refuse. This was the first time she had taken the initiative to video call him after all, 

“Then why did you still come?” Larissa eyed him as she asked him teasingly. She did not even notice she had asked in that way. “Aren’t you afraid that I would get angry after you came?” 

Kewan gazed at her rather sincerely. “Are you angry then?” 

Angry? Of course not. 

When she saw him appear, Larissa actually secretly lell a little happy. But she was Ico embarrassed to say that out loud.
