Chanter 760
Because they were watching the same movie, Larissa’s group of three met Allen and Freddy in the theater a few minutes later. Allen and
Freddy’s seats were in the row in front of them.
It was unsure if it was due to Allen and Freddy getting a huge blow earlier outside, or if they were trying to avoid the attention of the other audience. But when they passed by in front of Larissa, they did not stop at all.
The lights turned off quickly.
Allen and Freddy vanished in the dark, and Larissa could no longer see them.
Disnie movies were suitable for all ages, so the plot would be a bit childish for adults. Larissa only watched halfway before she fell asleep.
She was woken by Aster, When she woke up, the movie was already finished. The lights in the theater were bright.
The seats in the rows below them were all empty. A few cinema staff were cleaning up the trash row by row.
Aster stood in front of Larissa. He was still hugging the popcom bucket that was not finished. He was frowning hard and staring at her unhappily as he scolded her sterly. “Mommy, how can you sleep when you’re watching a movie!”
Larissa yawned as she straightened up. She rubbed her sore neck. Her voice was still thick with tiredness. “Sorry.” She looked around but did not see Kevan. Suddenly, she felt panicked and was fully awake because of this scare. “Where’s your daddy?”
“Daddy went to the toilet Aster said, “He told me not to wake you up, but everyone has left Aster had been waiting patiently at first. But the people began to leave as time passed until it was just him and Larissa left inside.
When Aster saw the cinema statt come in, but Daddy was nowhere to be seen, he could not sit still anymore.
Larissa grabbed her bag and held Aster’s hand. “Let’s go. We’ll find your daddy.”
They had just walked to the exit when they ran into Kevan.
“You’re awake?” He raised an eyebrow slightly,
Larissa felt a little embarrassed. She mumbled a quiet “Yes.”
Aster anxiously held Kevan’s hand as he pouted. “Daddy, why did it take you so long?”
Kevan fudged an answer before asking Larissa, “Home now? Or do you want to walk around for a bit?”
Larissa looked at her watch. It was almost 9 pm. It would probably be past 10 pm when they go home, pack for tomorrow, and shower.
Aster still had school tomorrow, and she had work tomorrow. Naturally, they could not be late when going to sleep. Even if Aster was not finished, Larissa insisted firmly. “Home”
Kevan put Aster to sleep before going to Larissa’s bedroom with the medicine in his hand.
Larissa had just finished showering and was doing her skincare routine while sitting at the dressing table. She was dressed in a thin, silk
nightgown.
Having stayed at the hospital for several months, she did not care about her skin for a very long time. But now that she was working again, she had to start taking care of her skin again. Otherwise, she would be beaten by the other female employees at work.
