Chapter 804
Although Kevan did not stay over at Larissa’s house anymore, he appeared at her doorstep promptly the following day. He brought a delicious breakfast from the hotel.
While enjoying breakfast, Wendy praised Kevan continuously, “Mr. Rogers, you are the best man on earth! If you didn’t have someone you love already. I would definitely go all out to pursue you!”
After hearing her compliments. Kevan seemed to be in a good mood, and his attitude toward her improved. “Ms. Simmons, what would you like for breakfast tomorrow? I have the hotel prepare it.”
Larissa rolled her eyes discreetly as she bit into her crispy bacon.
Wendy did not hold back and rattled off a list of dishes. Lastly, she added meaningfully. “Mr. Rogers, if you ever need my help, feel free to let me know.”
Kevan smiled and nodded. “Alright.”
Aster couldn’t get used to Kevan’s absence and complained throughout the car ride. He only stopped after Larissa insisted firmly.
As usual, Kevan would drop Aster off at kindergarten, and Larissa would wait in the car.
Peering through the car window, she saw Aster holding Kevan’s hand. He was taking excitedly about something. Kevan bent down to match Aster’s height, listening to him attentively. A warmth enveloped Larissa’s heart, and she was even more sure of her decision,
Aher twenty minutes, Kevan emerged from the kindergarten. He took almost twice as much time as Larissa to drop him off. Larissa could probably guess why he was delayed for so long,
“Did one of the teachers strike up a conversation with you again? Crossing her arms, she raised an eyebrow and asked in a teasing tone
The female teachers in Aster’s class were generally young in age. Compared to an old maid like her, they are weak to handsome men, Kevan’s attractive face was as powerful as a nuclear weapon in making them swoon
Larissa heard from Aster that whenever Kevan dropped him off at the classroom, the teachers would hold him back for a chat.
“Yeah. The teacher mentioned that the kindergarten would have a baking contest as a parent-child activity this Saturday. She suggested
that we join.”
Larissa was skilled in baking. After all, she had learned baking from Violet for some time.
“Sounds good. After work. I will go to the supermarket to get some tools and ingredients. Do you want to come along? Larissa decided
quickly and invited Kevan.
Kevan seemed pleasantly surprised. After a brief pause, he smiled widely, “Sure.”
“Will you pick me up after work?” Larissa asked.
“Yes, I’ll wait for you downstairs after picking Aster up.” Kevan said eagerly.
The atmosphere at the presidential office today was a little strange.
From her desk, Larissa noticed her colleagues heading into Lewis office one after another all morning.
She asked Marlyn, “What’s going on? Did I miss something?”
Everything seemed normal yesterday. She wasn’t late today either.
Marilyn was just as puzzled. “I don’t know. I ask someone during lunch break.”
However, before the lunch break, Lewis emerged from his office and announced to everyone. We’re having a meeting in the conference
