Kevan stood beside Larissa with a hand in his pocket. He lowered his head to look at her and ordered, “It’s getting late, time to sleep now.” 

“I ate too much, I need to exercise and burn off some calories,” Larissa said as she got up from the sofa. 

There was a dedicated gym in the house. Although there wasn’t much equipment, it was sufficient for her needs. 

As soon as she took a step forward. Kevan stopped her. There was a meaningful smile on his face. “Exercise? I know of a particularly effective form of exercise to burn calories instead.” 

It was the weekend, so all four of them were at home. 

After the intense “workout” last night, Larissa felt a little groggy in the morning. 

Yawning, she lay on the sofa in their home theater and watched a cheesy teen drama with Wendy. 

“Hey, do you know if Microworks Corporation is making a fortune from this recent epidemic happening back in Caldor?” Wendy blurted cut suddenly. 

“What? Why?” Larissa’s mind was still foggy and she did not reply immediately. 

Wendy explained, “With the lockdown in place, people can’t go out to have fun. They can only stay home and watch dramas or play games! The biggest and most comprehensive streaming site online is VisualBox. It’s owned by Microworks Corporations. Exclusive content can only be unlocked by paying for a membership. As for games, the top three most downloaded games on the leaderboards were developed by Microworks Corporation as well. I heard that the gaming department of M croworks Corporations made billions in revenue in just the first week of the lockdown!” 

“What’s your point? Larissa asked blankly. 

Wendy stared at her in frustration. “So, Mr. Rogers is very, really, and extremely rich! Ms. Larissa, haven’t you realized that you are on your 

way to becoming a super–duper rich woman?” 

However. Larissa was unperturbed. That money isn’t mine. What’s more, Kevan and I are not married yet. Even if we do get married, that would be his pre–marital assets which have nothing to do with me. So, I’m not going to be a super–duper–rich woman. Don’t call me that!” 

“What’s the matter with you?” Wendy glared at her. After a minute, she sighed and slumped down on the sola. “Never mind, you have a dad who’s the president of Blue Star Shipping. You’re a princess born with a silver spoon in your mouth. That’s why you have no concept of 

money. 

If it weren’t for Wendy’s health, Larissa would have kicked her right then and there. 

She was no princess, and she wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth. What a ridiculous image that Wendy was trying to pin on her! 

“Blue Star Shipping is seriously affected by this epidemic. I don’t know if the company can make it through the second hall of the year.” Larissa’s mood Lumed somber when the topic came up,

afford basic necessities. 

“Who has the extra cash to buy properties? Besides, the construction quality of Soaring Corporallon has gone downhill recently. They have not upheld their end of customer service, so there are tons of complaints online. 

“Now that they have ruined their own reputation, their properties can’t be sold. Most of the newly built ones are left vacant. Even with huge discounts, nobody’s interested. Anyway, il Caldor continues to slay locked down, Soaring Corporation is definitely going to go bankrupt.”
