Plans to return to Westonia were quickly arranged.
Larissa stayed two nights at Kevan's home.
She had arranged to meet with Lewis directly at the airport on the day of their departure.
Lewis didn't ask where she had been for the past two days. He already knew the answer. However, he expressed his confusion when he saw her alone. "Isn't Aster returning with us?"
In Larissa's original plans, Aster was to return to Westonia with her. However, Kevan's parents insisted on keeping him with them due to the risk of contracting the virus.
Kevan had also mentioned that Cody might act erratically when forced into a corner. In the end, Larissa decided to leave Aster at the Rogers' villa which would be safer.
Larissa answered, "He wants to stay back and play for a few more days. Kevan will bring him back to Westonia."
Lewis went silent and didn't ask further.
The plane touched down in Westonia at noon.
Due to Gary's urging, Lewis had no time to get over his jetlag and went straight to the office.
Larissa accompanied him.
Gary locked his office door and drew the curtains. He said with a cold expression, "I had the technical department check the computers of everyone working in the presidential office. However, we didn't find any evidence of contact with Moorewell Shipping. We have no way of finding out whether they contacted Moorewell privately."
Lewis deduced based on Brian's information, "The mole must have seen the quotation we gave to Thompson Medical. I've personally handled the Thompson project. I have only sent the quotations to you to keep things confidential."
Gary replied, "I never showed it to anyone as well. However, I didn't delete the email you sent me."
Thinking for a moment, he continued, "Could it be that someone hacked into my inbox?"
With this thought in mind, Gary made another call to the technical department again.
The technical department gave their feedback.
Gary's email account had never been logged into from any other device. In other words, his account was not hacked.
