Sweet Wife in Hidden Marriage novel Chapter 9

When he closed the door and left Lilian behind, she leaned back, gasping. The man really knew how to irritate her.

She shouldn't get angry so easily, so she closed her eyes and patted her own chest to calm herself down.

When she touched the diamond necklace on her neck, she frowned. She didn't want to keep it. She took it off and put it on the table, looking at it as if it were devil's fruit.

Fortunately, the yacht sailed back to the pier soon. Archibald hadn't come to harass her again.

Lilian asked his assistant for a bank account and returned the money.

She felt fearful and grateful to the man who had helped her and taken advantage of her. She jumped off the yacht as soon as she could, and took a cab.

She had a bad hunch about this. She somehow knew she wouldn't be able to get rid of Archibald easily.

Archibald walked out in a suit with dark vertical stripes. He watched her leaving; deep in her eyes, there was the light of conquering shining.

"You just couldn't wait to run away, do you?"

"Now that I've found you, do you think you can really get rid of me?"

"What you owed me... you should return it with the rest of your life!"

In a community in the city.

This is where Lilian lived in.

Ever since Joanna drove her out of the apartment, Sebastian bought this house for her. The old man gave Sebastian the order to live here.

However, Sebastian barely came back, which made this place the exclusive nest for Lilian.

Lilian was exhausted today. When she opened the door today, however, she found in surprise that Sebastian was in the living room.

He wrapped a towel around his waist. Obviously, he had taken a shower.

Sebastian saw Lilian stand at the door. She had a suitcase behind her, and looked like she just came back from a trip. He frowned and asked, "Where have you been? Why so late?"

"I'm out for work," she put down her suitcase down and answered calmly.
