Talented Heiress A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 786

The Shadow Alliance's guards were just a bunch of weaklings to Yvette. However, they weren't so weak that she could capture them so easily.

The entrance to such a crucial area as the dock was guarded way too loosely—this was clearly a trap!

Her expression grew colder. "Hurry, let's go!"

Miguel was confused. They were moments away from entering the dock and blowing it up, yet now she wanted them to retreat… Still, he followed her orders without question, promptly retreating behind her.

From atop a high building, a noble-looking man with an upright posture observed everything.

"Mr. Quinn, it looks like they've figured out our plan," Samuel reported cautiously.

The fool was sharper than he'd expected…

Wilson wore a golden mask that concealed his devilishly handsome face, adding an air of mystery and danger. His thin lips curled into a cold smile, and the pressure around him grew heavy, causing chills to anyone nearby.

"After them. Capture him alive."

That fool had destroyed his arms factory and casino. Letting him die easily would be going easy on him.

"Yes, Mr. Quinn!"

"Damn it!!" Miguel cursed loudly as a large number of guards suddenly appeared behind them, his eyes wide with shock. "The Shadow Alliance actually set up an ambush! How despicable!"

With so many men lying in wait, if they'd taken even one step forward into the dock, their bodies would've been riddled with bullets!

With a loud bang, a bullet flew toward them. If Yvette hadn't yanked Miguel aside in time, his head would've been pierced by the shot.

"Agh!" Miguel dodged the bullet to his head, but his arm got hit. The severe pain drained his face of color, and the car began to slow down.

Seeing the pursuing cars about to catch up, Yvette's eyes turned icy cold as she said in a frosty tone, "Move over. I'll drive."

"Yes, Ms. Murray." Enduring the pain in his arm, Miguel quickly jumped into the passenger seat, making space for her.

Yvette gripped the steering wheel with both hands, floored the accelerator, and performed a sharp drift that sent the car speeding away.

The speed nearly threw Miguel out of his seat, and he scrambled to buckle his seatbelt with trembling hands.

Damn! Yvette wasn't driving; she was practically flying!

Soon, Yvette left the Shadow Alliance guards far behind, their car almost out of sight.

"You won't catch up to them." Wilson waved away Samuel, who was preparing to drive. His tone was indifferent. "Just try to keep up."

With that, Wilson got into the car, his devilishly handsome face cold. The sooner he dealt with this fool, the sooner he could return to see Yvette back home!
