Talented Heiress A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 844

Victoria's lips curled up in a sinister smile, and she moved to smash the full bottle of hypnotizing fragrance on the floor.

Just a little whiff of the hypnotizing fragrance was enough to muddle the senses, and a little more than that could enable her to control someone's mind. Therefore, such a strong dose would be enough for her to control everyone in the room!

However, Yvette moved faster than she did. Before she could react, Yvette had snatched the hypnotizing fragrance out of her hand.

"What are you doing, Yvette Murray?" Victoria's expression immediately twisted upon seeing the hypnotizing fragrance stolen away from her.

But Yvette completely ignored her in favor of presenting the bottle of hypnotizing fragrance to Martha. "Grandma, don't you find this fragrance familiar?" she asked.

Because Martha had already had a whiff of the antidote Yvette made, even if she smelled the hypnotizing fragrance again, it would no longer affect her.

"Yes, it's familiar! That's the strange fragrance I've been smelling!" replied Martha, instantly becoming worked up after sniffing at the bottle. "I started feeling muddle-headed and confused after inhaling this fragrance, like I was being controlled!

"This is a hypnotizing fragrance. People who inhale this fragrance will slowly become dull and muddle-headed, in the end turning into mindless puppets open to manipulation."

As soon as the words left Yvette's mouth, Victoria's expression turned uglier, and she quickly said, "This is just a normal bottle of perfume. I've never heard of something like a hypnotizing fragrance! Furthermore, how could something capable of controlling people's minds exist in this world!"

She bit her lip, eyes red, putting on a feeble and aggrieved expression. "I know you don't like me, Yvie, so you want to drive me away from Mrs. Quinn Senior and Wilson's side. However, you can't just slander me like this either!"

"Your acting skills are pretty good," Yvette commented instead.

She looked coldly at Victoria's pitiful appearance, then added with a sneer, "It's a pity you didn't go to acting school."

"Mrs. Quinn Senior… Wilson… you have to believe me…"
