Talented Heiress A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 856

Madison nodded firmly. "I'll keep that in mind, Yvie. I will be vigilant in the future. You won't catch me with my guard down like you did today!

Yvette nodded and cast an icy gaze at the old man. "Break his legs and send him to the police station."

"As you command, Ms. Murray," Apollo responded respectfully at once.

The old man heard what Yvette said and was so terrified that his body trembled violently. He parted his lips and was about to beg for mercy.

Yvette could do without the racket. As such, she waved a lazy hand, signaling for Apollo to gag the old man, silencing him before he could utter another word. Then, he was forcibly taken away.

Yvette touched Madison's pale cheeks and said warmly, "Go ahead and return to campus without me. There are matters I have to attend to."

Yvette was about to engage in physical violence, and it wasn't something she wanted Madison to see. The latter would be scared out of her mind.

Needless to say, Madison obeyed Yvette's every word. She nodded submissively. "Alright. I'll tell Professor Lawrence that you need to take the day off today."

After Madison left, Yvette glanced at the group of masked men coldly. When they met her gaze, they felt a chill go down their spines, and their bodies trembled uncontrollably. Each of them regretted their decisions big time.

If they had known that Yvette was such a ferocious lady, they would never have accepted this gig, no matter how much money they were offered.

"I'm going to ask you all one last time." Yvette lowered her delicate eyebrows. Her beautiful face looked as cold as ice as she said, "Who sent you guys to abduct me?"

"We can't tell you anything about that." The group of men might've been terrified, but they remain tight-lipped.

After all, there were rules to observe among underworld thugs. They could never reveal information about the person who hired them. If they broke this rule, they would no longer be able to stay in the underworld circle.
