Talented Heiress A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 863

It was maddening.

Wilson's throat bobbed as he swallowed hard, trying to suppress the growing desire that threatened to take over. His rough and strained voice broke the silence. "Yvie, stop. You need to rest."

He wanted to give in, to let himself become the reckless man she teased him to be—but he held back, though just barely.

Yvette, however, wasn't in the mood for abstinence. With a sharp tug on his tie, she pulled him down onto the bed. Then, with one fluid motion, moved to straddle him. The suddenness left Wilson momentarily stunned, though the smirk tugging at his lips betrayed his amusement.

"Are you sure you want to do this, baby?" His voice, deep and magnetic, carried a note of indulgent exasperation. "Are you planning to take charge here?"

"Well, someone has to," she shot back, her delicate fingers working haphazardly at the buttons of his shirt. "You're taking too long."

Wilson's chuckle rumbled low in his chest, sending a shiver down her spine. "Baby, you might regret this position. It's your first time, and you're already setting yourself up for trouble."

Before she could quip back, his hands—strong and deliberate—gripped her waist firmly. In an instant, their roles flipped, leaving Yvette beneath him.

"Let me give you one last chance to back out, baby," he said, his intense gaze locking onto hers. His restraint was palpable, even as tension coiled tight in every muscle of his body.

"Why would I back out?" Yvette asked as she tilted her head, her soft, confident tone catching him off guard.

The resolve he had been holding onto snapped. His breath hitched, and his voice dropped, rough with desire. "Baby, don't come crying to me later."

Her response was a lazy lift of her brow, as though she found the very idea amusing. The teasing curve of her lips dared him further.
