Talented Heiress A Rose with Thorns (Yvette and Wilson) novel Chapter 865

The bedroom was quiet, filled only with the soft morning light streaming in through the curtains.

Yvette was awake but feeling utterly drained. As she shifted slightly, her body protested—her back ached, and her legs felt like jelly.

"Baby, are you awake?" Wilson's smooth voice interrupted her thoughts. He strode into the room, his long legs closing the distance in a few quick steps. Without hesitation, he scooped her into his arms, his hands slipping under her pajama top.

Yvette's reflexes kicked in, and she grabbed his wrist, her cheeks flushing. Remembering the events of the previous night, she shot him a half-hearted glare. "Stop… Let's not do it in the day."

Wilson chuckled, his deep voice laced with mischief. His dark eyes sparkled with amusement. "Relax, Yvie. I'm just helping with your sore back." He smirked, tilting his head slightly as he challenged, "What did you think I was about to do?"

Realizing she'd jumped to conclusions, Yvette's ears burned red. She buried her face in his chest to escape his teasing gaze, mumbling something incoherent.

"Do you really think I'm that bad?" he asked, though his tone suggested he didn't mind the implication. His fingers kneaded her lower back gently, his touch firm but soothing.

Despite her earlier protests, Yvette melted under his touch. The soreness gradually faded, replaced by a comforting warmth. Wilson pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, his voice low and affectionate. "Next time, I'll take it easier."

Her eyes snapped up, and she shot him a half-hearted glare, her lips pressing into a pout. She thought, "He has the nerve to plan for a next time already?"

Wilson wasn't just thinking about a next time. In fact, he was already planning the details, right down to the positions.

Whatever crossed his mind made Wilson's gaze darken abruptly, his black eyes narrowing with a thoughtful glint.

He was trying to figure out how to convince Yvette to have sex with him in the bathroom.

Yvette quickly changed the subject, her voice soft. "I'm hungry."
