Sahil's POV
I rang the doorbell of Vikram's home and a servant opened the door.
" Yes sir?? "
" Hi, I wanted to meet... " I didn't know what to say but just then Vikram's wife saw me and she was shocked as well as surprised.
" Sagar Ji ?? "
" Hi... No, I am Sahil... " I said with a smile.
" Oh yeah of course... I am sorry... please come in. " She said and I went in. She was smiling at me but looked a bit apprehensive, just like me.. did she know everything??
" Please have a seat, I will call Vikram..."
" Can you please call Manu... I mean Manyata?? " I said sitting on the couch and placing the bouquet and chocolates I got for Manu on the centre table.
" Yeah.. she came just 5 minutes back... " She was saying when Vikram walked in asking her who was on the door.
He saw me and smiled instantly and the very next second that smile that had started to form on his face vanished.
" Sahil, what are you doing here? " he was looking angry now.
" Vikram, I need to talk to Manu... Manyata."
" Don't even take her name or I will forget that we were friends. "
"Vikram, I understand that you are angry with me, but just at least hear me out... "
" I don't want to hear anything from you... How dare you behave like that to my sister??"
" Vikram at least listen to what he has to say... " His wife said to him but he was really angry.
" Sahil, why are you here now?? She has nothing to do with you now... She has already signed those damn papers. What else do you want?? Just leave... "
" Vikram I just need to talk to her. Please call her. "
" Tell me one good reason, why I should call her?? " Vikram was about to lose it and I could see it. But I was not going to leave before I get to talk to Manu.
" She is my wife and I want to talk to her... "
" No way... You hurt her now I can't let you do it more."
" Please give me another chance... " I said and he came very close and punched me on my face very hard.
" Vikram !!!!!" His wife shouted and caught his arm to pull him away from me.
I knew he was angry at me when my own family was angry with me, Vikram was bound to be angry as he was Manu's brother.
" Second chance?? I know you so well. I would not have given you a single minute with her. But uncle got you both married without telling me. You are not worth it... I know everything about you. You expect me to trust you with my sister? Never... Get out of here. "
" Vikram, I know I have been the biggest idiot in the world but please, I am sorry... I made a mistake... I am already feeling very bad. I will... " I was saying when he punched me again at the same spot and my nose started to bleed.
" Vikram... What are you doing?? Please try and understand. He is her husband... " she tried pulling him with all her might but she could pull him just two steps back.
" No, he is not... He sent the papers, she signed them." He shouted back glaring at me. His eyes were red. He took another step towards me.
He was about to pounce on me when his wife hugged him hard to calm him down. She was pushing him away from me.
" I will not go without meeting her. You can beat me if you want. " I said in a high tone.
" Sahil just go away... I swear, I kill you. how dare you insult her like that.? You hurt her... "
I was about to say something when Manu came in rushing and was shocked to see us.
She came running and stood between us.
" Bhai sa please...stop it... Calm down."
" Manu, you go inside... "
" No Bhai sa, I can handle it, you go inside and calm down. Bhabhi please take him away. Bhai sa trust me, I can handle it. Please calm down. "
" You are not talking to him again. " Vikram said to Manu.
" Oh please Vikram... All he wants is to talk to her. He is feeling bad. Give him a chance... Everyone makes a mistake. He also did that. He has realised it... At least let them talk. " his wife said to. her very firmly.
" You don't know he said so many hurtful things to her... He doesn't deserve her."
" So did you, Vikram... But you realised and you changed," she said and he looked at her with shock and closed his eyes for a few seconds. He thought for a few more seconds.
" But I was not a casanova like him.. " he glared at me.
" I know... But they are married. Please, give him a chance, let him speak at least... Just one chance, if not for him then for Sagar Ji, Manu or your Kako sa... " She said to her husband.
Such a nice girl just like my Manu...
