Swati's POV

It was a beautiful morning and I was feeling very good, I decided to make something very nice for the breakfast. I knew that Samar Ji would be here for the breakfast. So I was going towards the kitchen when I saw a letter on the dining table.

It was from Sahil Bhai, informing mom that he was going to  Delhi for some urgent work and would be back in a week or so.

He had gone to Delhi?? Was he going to meet Manu I mean...  bhabhi?

I must tell to dad and Samar Ji.

Just then I saw Samar Ji entering our home.

Wow!! He is a bit early. I felt a bit self-conscious about the fact that I was in my night suit. But I felt good to see him so early.

He saw me and came to me. He was smiling but his face looked a bit swollen on one side and there was a small cut near his lips on the same side of the face.

" Oh my God !! Samar Ji, what happened ?? "

" Good morning, cupcake. "

" Good morning... But what happened?" I tried to touch his face but he flinched a bit.

" Don't worry... It's nothing. "

" Samar Ji... Either you tell me Or I am not going to talk to you. "

" You know one thing? " he said with a smile.

" What?? "

" You Malhotra siblings are crazy... "

" What?? " I glared at him and pointed a finger at him as if I was giving a warning.

" But you are definitely the cutest among them, my cupcake. " He kissed my finger. But then winced with pain.

" Ouch !! "

" Ouch!!! Having pain?? " I asked and he shook his head.

Stupid male ego...

" Sit here... Tell me what happened. "

" If I tell you good news what will I get?? "

" Samar Ji, have you lost it?? "

" Yes, I have lost my heart to you... "

" Oh, God !! Please be serious?? Why is your face swollen? Did you have a fight? "

" My face is swollen as your brother hit me twice. "

" What?? Why?? When?? "

" Hello !!! I am a lawyer, it is a part of my job to ask a question... "

" Listen, Samar Ji... You better stop talking like that and start answering my questions. "

" Oh,  my cupcake looks very hot when she is angry. " He said with a wink.

" Oh fine... I am going... you keep sitting here. "

" Ok wait... But first tell me, If I tell you good news what will I get?? "

" Whatever you want... I am really tensed with the situation with Sahil Bhai. Good news is welcomed. Now, will you tell me, why did he punch you?"

"  Ok!! But the good news first,  to release your tension... Sahil is not going to sign the papers. "

" What?? Are you sure?? Really? How do you know?? "

" One question at a time cupcake. "

" Please tell me... "

" He is going to Delhi to meet Manu, he said he would not sign the papers at any cost. "

" Oh, that is wonderful news... But why did he hit you?? "

" Because I said that if he meets Manu, he must tell her that I was missing her. He got annoyed and hit me twice. "

" Oh.... "

" He even asked me to stay away from her. He also said that Manyata was his wife and would remain his wife only.  "

" Oh god!! Why didn't you tell him.. "

" I wanted him to realise that he doesn't want to lose her. He was angry at what uncle said, about me and Manu getting married, after he divorced her. "

" Ok, sorry. But I don't want to eat without you. " He caught hold of my hand and pulled me to his office.

"What will you have? Pizza?? Pasta?? Sandwiches?? "

" Nothing... I brought lunch from home and you will eat that. " I said.

" Wow !!  I missed you yaar. C'mon get it. I am starving. "

" You must have had sandwiches in all meals if only you had bothered to eat at all. " I said and he shook his head and smiled.

I opened the huge tiffin box Sandhya bhabhi packed for me. It had Rajma and stuffed capsicum along with chapati, rice and a few pieces of besan barfi.

It was enough to feed at least 3 people. She had already prepared lunch as they had to go to the hospital.

Did she seriously think that I eat so much? I told her that I would share it with my best friend. But still, it was too much.

Mohit was so excited to see the food.

" I am actually starving. This looks amazing. Love you for this. "

" I didn't make this my bhabhi did. She is one of the most amazing cooks. "

" So are you... Now let's start before I go crazy. "

We both enjoyed the food. It was awesome.

" Please thank her on my behalf. It was delicious. " He said cleaning his hands.

We relaxed for some time and then I resumed. After about forty minutes, I finished my work.

The pictures were really good. All the dresses were looking very good. Perfect colour the prints showed even the most minute details.

Mohit and Niharika both were very happy with them.

Niharika asked me, " When would I have to come back? "

" I will let you know, Niharika. I will take the solo pics first and then in pairs. So maybe in a week or so. " I told her and she nodded and went away after changing.

" Call Monisha tomorrow and Piyali day after..... " I told Mohit.

" Sure .. "  he said with a smile.

I was tired so I said bye to him and came back home.
