Eloise took a deep breath, trying to keep her emotions in check. She said to Orlena, "Stop hitting me up. Not everyone has to agree with your love life."
Orlena had always been the apple of everyone's eye, never having been turned down before. She kept pestering Eloise with questions, trying to understand why Eloise didn't like her.
And so, the two of them ended up in an alleyway. Eloise felt she couldn't shake off Orlena, so she turned around to try and chase her off, but the next moment she went wide-eyed.
Orlena was knocked down from behind.
“It's her, Max's fiancée.”
“Grab her. Max would surely pay for her!”
“There's another girl here. Take her too. She might be worth something as well.”
Before Eloise could even cry out, everything went dark. Her head was covered with a sack, and her hands and feet were tied. Both of them were dragged into a van.
...
Eloise came to. She was in an abandoned warehouse, tied to a broken chair. Beside her, Orlena was also tied up, crying and cursing.
"Do you know who I am?"
"My brother will put you behind bars!"
"Let me go!"
...
A man who looked like a monkey was annoyed by her noise and slapped her. "Shut up! Or I'll tear your clothes."
Orlena cried even louder.
The man didn't dare to do anything to her, knowing full well that the Horigan family was not to be messed with, especially a lawyer named Harvey.
The man tossed a phone to Orlena, "Call your boyfriend. Tell him to prepare 2 million dollars, not a penny less! And tell him to come alone, no tricks, or we won't be so nice!"
