Eloise can be a bit of a hothead sometimes.

After the small conflict happened between them, she had been giving him the silent treatment.

She took a bath, washing away the grime from the kitchen, and then did some skincare.

Harvey had been good to her. She'd only moved in a couple of days ago and he'd already sent over several sets of high-end skincare products. Eloise didn't ask, she just ripped them open and started using them, figuring it was probably his little way of making amends.

Who doesn't love soft, smooth skin, right?

After moisturizing her upper body, she bent over to do her legs. Eloise had quite the figure and even this simple action was alluring.

And allure Harvey it did.

He strolled over, boldly wrapping his arms around her from behind. Eloise jumped, but she didn't push him away, letting him have his way.

After a while, he whispered into her ear, "Is it that time of the month?"

Eloise figured his anger had subsided and played along, "It'll start tonight."

Harvey paused, but kept pressed against her back as if eager to chat. "What do you want to do after the lawsuit is over? You can't just stick with one student, Blake Bowen, can you?"

Eloise's mind was a bit scrambled, but she followed his train of thought, "Once this is all over, I want to teach somewhere else."

Harvey nipped lightly at her ear.

"What if I send you to Britain to study after a while?"

Eloise sobered up a bit, catching the implications in his words.

Their relationship wasn't going to last. Once he got bored, he'd send her abroad. It was part compensation, part getting her out of Max's way so as not to affect Orlena's marriage.

Eloise didn't naively ask if he'd visit her abroad.

She knew, he wouldn't.

The moment he sent her away would be their end.

If that was his rule, Eloise was willing to play along. She wasn't a clueless girl.

Maybe because Eloise was so docile, Harvey was in a good mood. He started chatting about some juicy gossip while stroking her skin, making Eloise blush and weak in the knees.
