Harvey wasn't ticked off.
He chuckled lightly, then walked into the closet to grab his clothes for a shower.
Eloise exhaled in relief and kept talking to Veronica on the phone.
She didn't want to discuss Max, so she asked, "What was that other thing you were saying?"
Veronica paused for a moment before saying, "Our college is planning an alumni gathering. I heard that it's being organized by Ravenna Sartin, that sly fox. She's got ulterior motives, even planning to collaborate with Dawson College."
Dawson College?
Max was a graduate of Dawson College, and Ravenna would definitely invite him.
Eloise immediately lost interest in attending.
Veronica was also pretty mad, she exclaimed, "Doesn't this woman have any shame? She likes messing with other people's relationships, and it's one thing to do it behind our backs, but now she wants the world to bless her schemes! I think she's targeting you, spreading rumors about you being heartbroken and jobless, too afraid to show up."
Eloise didn't want to deal with such a person.
She just said she'd think about it and hung up. When she looked up, she saw Harvey standing in the doorway of the bathroom, wearing only a bathrobe. His physique was so good it was hard not to stare.
Eloise couldn't tear her gaze away.
Harvey, drying his wet hair, walked over to her and leaned in with a smirk, "Alumni gathering? That's where affairs tend to happen, you know."
Eloise bit her lip lightly, "I'm not married."
"But you're mine now," Harvey's high-bridged nose brushed against hers, his deep voice full of seduction.
Eloise suddenly felt her previous relationships were a waste of time.
Being with Attorney Horigan, she really wasn't short-changed.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, playfully asking in a soft voice, "So, do I need to report to you?"
Harvey rewarded her...
After they were intimate for a while, Eloise rested her chin on his shoulder, whispering, "I haven't decided yet, but there's one thing I'm sure of."
"What's that?"
Eloise cupped his handsome face, softly saying, "Harvey, I just want to make you happy now."
